Obama Can't Afford To Tell Truth on Health Care

President Barack Obama is spreading disinformation about health care almost as quickly as he's driving up the national debt, such as that 47 million Americans can't get health care and that a government takeover would be a panacea.

Democrats have constantly demagogued the 47 million uninsured figure to gin up public fear about the scarcity of health care access, especially for the poor. They follow up with the promise that under their plan, we would achieve universal access. But both are untrue.

In "The Top Ten Myths of American Health Care," Sally Pipes points out that while there are some Americans who simply can't afford health insurance, many millions who can afford insurance choose not to buy it and "very likely would not want to be 'rescued' by mandatory socialized medicine."

In the first place, the 47 million number is grossly inflated. The Congressional Budget Office survey generating it included those who were uninsured for any part of a year, despite the fact that almost half of these remain uninsured for an average of only four months.

Some 38 percent of this 47 million -- almost 18 million -- make more than $50,000 a year, and 10 million of them make more than $75,000. Of all the uninsured groups, this is the only one that is growing, because in a still-free country, they've made their own decision not to buy expensive insurance while (most of them) are young and healthy. The Census Bureau also reports that more than 10 million of the uninsured are not American citizens.

Now the people are learning and educating themselves and the reps are on the receiving end of that ire.

But they too, many of them, the libs, leftists, RINO's also fear the truth.

It's time we hammer them over this monstrosity and cause them to fear us, more than they fear Pelosi, Reed, Or Obama.

And if they cancel their townhalls, organize and take it right to their offices.

Here is a link to the full House Democrat Health Care Plan in PDF. In Section 1233 E & F, pages 426-433, you find the part about mandatory end-of-life counseling for anyone over 65 years of age. Section 152 Page 50: All healthcare services will be provided without regard to "personal characteristcs" which is not defined within the document but is understood to include immigration status.

Section 224 b Page 125: The Secretary shall design and implement the payment mechanisms and policies under this section in a manner that — (1) seeks to (B) reduce health disparities (including racial, ethnic and other disparities).

A lot more provisions now being documented at that site.

Donwload it, read it, study it, then hammer your reps over it and pass it on to all you know asking them to do the same.

I used to think the Clintons were the biggest liars ever in the White House.

Not now.

Obama makes the Clintons look like kindergartners.

He is a cold blooded liar/killer in my opinion who really could care less if most in the US Middle class just went on in to an Obamacare office and got rid of themselves.

I believe he is also a fiend who finds joy in the pain of others, witness his “take more pain medicine” comments and his “maybe the child didn’t need his tonsils out” comments.

Lets see, 47mil minus the 28mil who choose not to be insured or could otherwise afford insurance = 19mil. 19mil minus the 10mil non-citizens = 9mil.

So we’re going to go to single payer government run health care in order to cover 9 million folks. You gotta be a democrat to work that one out.

I think people are getting it, which explains the polls despite the all out media propaganda push. It's pretty simple, really. Zero's message is we can put 47 million new people on the insurance rolls for no cost and with no rationing because we will pay for it with the savings we'll get from doing this as a government operation instead of private enterprise.

It's crazy on it's face. It can't possibly work, which means there will be a cost to it, a big one, there will be some rationing and no, there will be no "savings" from going to a government program.

Most of our so-called “leaders” are well past 65 (Kennedy, Reid, Byrd, Roberts, Leahy, etc.). I propose that IF they submit to end of life counseling, we can start to talk.

Knowing these sluggards for what they really are (psuedo-royalty with Napoleonic complexes and egos only outsized by their arrogance), they would NEVER stoop to the level of us peasants.
