How’s this for six degrees? In the 1970s, I played in a rock band in Tampa at a club owned by one of JJ’s assistant coaches, who later became a rock empresario. That guy, 30 years later, saw me on FOX and contacted me out of the blue.

Not the same Jimmy Johnson.

In the late 70's in Tampa Fl. I would watch a rock band called Ruckus. Had a really tall guy with long blond hair that played bass.

No, you’re not understanding what I said. This asst. coach to THE Jimmy Johnson was a club owner who then went into rock promotion-—I have his diary/book in my possession. He also worked with Barry Switzer at OU before he became a Cowboy.
