For people who are looking for ways to reduce their "carbon footprint," here's one radical idea that could have a big long-term impact, some scientists say: Have fewer kids.
A study by statisticians at Oregon State University concluded that in the United States, the carbon legacy and greenhouse gas impact of an extra child is almost 20 times more important than some of the other environment-friendly practices people might employ during their entire lives - things like driving a high mileage car, recycling, or using energy-efficient appliances and light bulbs.
"In discussions about climate change, we tend to focus on the carbon emissions of an individual over his or her lifetime," said study team member Paul Murtaugh. "Those are important issues and it's essential that they should be considered. But an added challenge facing us is continuing population growth and increasing global consumption of resources."

I was thinking that with the libs having abortions and then those that do have kids, having fewer of them. They should be an endangered species in a couple of generations.
I also believe that they know this and that is why they have taken over the schools and universities so as to make new liberals out of moderate families.
These people need to take it to the next level, and put their money where their mouths are, they need to off themselves, now THAT will greatly reduce their carbon footprint. Then maybe I’ll listen to them.
Euthanization of the elderly and infirm along with not allowing births should help those health care costs in the short run.

I suggest that conservatives have as many children as possible and home school them to avoid the communist indoctrination centers cynically called “Public Schools”.

I always mention that to anyone who says we're too populated and need to reduce populations. The reactions from most is quite entertaining when they get my "put up or shut up" comment. It's certainly a conversation stopper. Fun to do at parties with lots of libs.

Exactly. The left makes no bones about it. They see intellectual Whites as the most dire demographic when it comes to impacting the earth negatively. We’re just too well to do. We eat up resources at rates that practically send the left into shock.

I had a pharmacist friend at one time, who admitted to me that he wanted to see some sort of disease or calamity kill off all but about 500 million people. At first I thought he was kidding. Then I asked him some questions, and sure enough, he really meant it.
At some point in the conversation I said, “Well, if that’s what you really think, what are you still doing here? You could be a part of the solution.”
This was a really nice mild mannered person. I like the guy to this day. Still, when it comes down to it, he thinks this earth should survive and the people who live on it..., well most of them shouldn’t.
It’s that kind of logic, you don’t confront very often, but it is simmering under the surface of many of these leftist groups. Mother earth good, humans who live on it bad.

Unfortunately, he likes the idea so much that he is 100% behind the public option for health care - and he says to us, “You first.”
You see, public apathy and dramatic population reduction (but not the political elite) are the end games of single payer health care. It works everywhere it has been tried - Europe, Canada, Russia...
Conservatives should have as many children as they possibly can. This is not going to match the third worlders by any means but, heck, let’s keep West Civ going for a couple of generations longer. God will provide.
