Bill Clinton has quite a story to tell
Reuters ^ | August 5, 2009 | Steve Holland - Analysis

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - After his talks with reclusive North Korean leader Kim Jong-il, Bill Clinton sure has a story to tell.

And one of the first in line to hear his tale is President Barack Obama.

"I suspect that President Clinton will have some interesting observations from his trip and I will let him provide those to me," Obama told MSNBC on Wednesday.

The former president was chosen by the North Koreans from among four possible envoys proposed to them to try to gain freedom for two American reporters sentenced to 12 years of hard labor in North Korea.

Other candidates for the task were other prominent Democrats: New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, Massachusetts Senator John Kerry and the man who served as Clinton's vice president, Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore.

Thus, Clinton became the most senior American envoy to spend time face-to-face with Kim in nearly a decade.

Yeah.... the President asks NK to release them, and gets no reply... then a political has-been asks for them and they are released.

Quite a slap, eh Barack?

Keep an eye on his gin blossom nose for a serious ‘growth spurt’ in the days to follow. ;)

Man, Hillary! has got to be FURIOUS over this! She stands by her man, and he upstages her once again even after 0bama has had her basically neutered.

When she finally loses it, it’s going to be SPECTACULAR! And she’s not going down alone...

(Yes, I know, Hillary. Going down. I shouldn’t have gone there, LOL! I’ll just poke out my mind’s eye and be done with it!)

i have it from the best sources...
Bill arrived in North Korea...on his way to the presidential palace he slipped out of his suit and put on his elastic American Flag jammies. He pulled a very large gun out of his...well,lets say it was cleverly concealed...
He dispatched his honor guard, humanely of course and entered the presidential compound. After a brief firefight where he defeated 500 starving NK soldiers,he fought his way to the very side of the dear leader. Gun to head,he made him promise to let the reporters go as well as to let him sample a few interns.
On his way out, using the dear leader for a shield,he picked up the reporters and boarded the jet home leaving the dear leader on the tarmac waving a cigarette lighter and screaming,”yippee kai yay(you get the drift),why is nuthing happening? i yell like Bruce, why it not work?” As i said, from the very best of sources...

Somehow, I can’t see any prior President saying anything other than “and I look forward to hearing them”.

What did it cost the American people and the country?! What did N. Korea get in return?!

I guarantee you that any everyday person would still be sitting in N. Korea. Only the anointed ones get this type of treatment. What the hell were they doing there and why did Al Gore send them in the first place?!

I think that Bill & Hillary will be pulling a stunt against Hussein.

Bill completed the first task and upstaged him by getting the girls released. Bill had the clout that Hussein could never have.

Hillary was the heavy opponent in the primaries and all is not forgiven.

Sending Hillary to Kenya to cauterize the B.C was like sending Burr Rabbit into the brier patch. She could take down Hussein and most of his backers in the DNC.

Absolutely right! Many people have forgotten that she has copies of the - what was it....425? - FBI files.

When she makes her move....those will assure compliance by many currently pledged to support Obama. I think she will make a move shortly after take big Democrat losses in 2010.

“Bill Clinton has quite a story to tell”

He always does, and goes on, and on, and on, and on, and on.

I’m certain it doesn’t bother the man one bit that he again helped embarass our Nation, and played into the hands once again of an enemy.

IMHO; The reason Kim Jong Il wanted Slick Willie was because he needs some more under-the-table information on successful launching of missles.

It has been reported that Willie got Loral Corp. to give Kim tons of technical info in return for campaign money in 1996. But, NK has still had some glitches in their missile launches, and Willie is probably being offered a deal in return for some more technical info. That’s just my opinion, however. (Sarc!)

Sadly, she’s our last best hope to get 0bama outta here! I’m not seeing any Republicans rise to the challenge...

"big Democrat losses in 2010."

No, I would think it would be now. Taking down Hussein and his cronies, she could justify by saying she is saving the USA from destruction. Biden would be out, as well as Nancy Pissy and a few others. She would then take over as POTUS.

She would have 3 years to correct what Hussein trashed. Through this, she could run for a DNC lock in '12. The GOP would try to save face by having McCarthy type witch hunts in the House to weed out further Hussein co-conspirators.
