Muslims are on the rampage against an old German soccer club song that includes the lyrics, “Mohammed was a prophet who knew nothing of football.” The German soccer club 'Schalke 04' responded that Mohammed lived long before soccer was invented and that it sees no problem with the song.
The "White and Blue, How I Love You" song was written in 1924 and has been the official hymn of the club for decades, but the rising Muslim population in Europe has made it a more powerful force against anything that they consider offensive.

But there are a lot more German Germans living in Germany. And quite a few of them are football fans, and then we have the football hooligans. For their own sake I think the Muslims should tread very carefully.
I really think people should find a copy of Anthony Burgess's "1985" and read it.

The media words these headlines to drive wedges between people so that they can later report the slaughter.
They just need a justification for the riots which they will now start, and for the car-torchings, yelling, stone-throwing and head-chopping.
When they do it, the media will provide this as an excuse for their violent actions.
Hey, Europeans, Muslims consider everything about you and your cultures, and your habits and your lifestyle to be offensive. Get a clue. As their numbers grow, you'll learn what all they consider to be offensive. The USA needs to get a clue, also.
Right. The people of peace consider anything existing in a culture not in the koran as anathema, and anything mentioned by an existing culture also mentioned in the koran as superfulous. Short version - everything after 650 A.D. is offensive in one way or another. Which is why ordinary people in muslim countries still live in the 7th century for the most part.
If some how the muzzies were to conquer both the US and Europe, and after they destroyed everything which offends them, centuries later they would be proclaiming things like: their invention of electricity, rockets, airplanes, literature, science, medicine - just as they did 1400 years ago make the same claims on the bodies of the millions they slaughtered and the countries/empires they crushed.

That's a part of history that needs to be investigated: just what, if anything, the Muslims invented and what did the take from conquered cultures and claim as their own? I think several of their "inventions" really came from the Hindus.

Check Dan Pipes’ site - he wrote a piece long time back with some of this - the muslim claim to Jerusalem. There is no need to investigate, history is history.
What’s been going on for a while is the re-writing of it by muslims much like the soviets did in the 40s, claiming invention of, discovery of just about everything.
What muslims are saying is: these are the items outside of the koran, which we will accept as legitimate, everything else we will destroy.

Yes. More ordinary people with that nice muslim neighbor need to read the muslim history from 600 AD to 1400 AD. Almost everyone in the places mulims invaded became a muslim, a dhimmi, or was killed (think untold millions).
Seriously read the koran (written by Allah), as well as the other 4 equally important books (written by men) - hadith (the sayings of Mo), sunnah (the life of Mo): Bukhari, Tabari, Ishaq, and Muslim.
Reading the koran alone tells you nothing. You must read the other 4 to understand what is bring said in the koran.
Read the koran, knowing it has 2 halves - the first is mostly plagerized from the Torah and the Bible - speaks of being a good guy.
The second half which is later in time, Mo said superceeds the first half - speaks of eliminating everything which is not muslim, not mentioned; this forms and gives legitimacy to jihad.
Just a few clues.
One of two things: appearing to be "civilized" is part of their taquiyah, or a true Muslim would consider them apostates.
Now, the Moslems will be picking the wrong enemy, by taking on the Schalke fans. Schalke is a religion for the folks in the Ruhrgebiet. And compared to normal soccer fans, Schalke fans are fanatics. They aren't going to take it well for some outsiders to attack their team's anthem.
When are the civilized Muslims going to stand up and denounce the cr*p done in their name? You can count on one hand, the Muslims, who have done so: Irshad Manji, Wafa Sultan, Dr Jasser... I’ve run out of names that come to mind.

By the way, Schalke now asked an Islam expert, and he posted an article on the Schalke website. The article states that the song is clearly not an insult to Mohammed and that everyone who thinks so is an idiot (in nicer words, of course...). The fact that this was even necessary is a testament to the "Culture War" PC hysteria in my opinion.
