MARHOFER, RON MR STOW, OH 44224 RON MARHOFER CHEVROLET REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE - CONTRIBUTIONS (AKA REPUBLICAN NATIONAL FINANCE COMMITTEE (R) $500
(and this is a donation from 1988)
I’m trying to figure out why the heck they closed a lot of these dealers before their clunker plan went into effect.
“we can’t tell you”.
So much for transparency.
Now he knows why.
Well, that explains it.
I wonder how many of his employees voted for Obama. I wonder if they will do it again.
Are all the closed dealerships Republican donors?
I think the next election is going to see a level of vote buying never before seen in history
And more repuiblican owned business forced to close
LOOK AT THE TOBACCO INDUSTRY!!!
They were HUGE donors to republicans.
If they were supporting Democraps I guarantee we would all now be hearing of the wonderful health benefits of “bathing your lungs in cleansing smoke”
More likely, “I could tell you, but I’d have to kill you,” is it not?
That would explain it. The man should have worked to keep pro business Republicans in power instead of quitting after 1988. Sad.
This is going to backfire on the fascists. As families and neighbors see this kind of political “taking”, they are going to hate Democrats for generations.

This is pure evil.
not everything is a conspiracy
Why the hell don’t the democrats just be upfront about it and say “YOU ARE GETTING SHUT DOWN UNLESS YOU CONTRIBUTE TO THE DNC”
That is the way it has been in Chicago for the last 100 years. Everyone knows it. Bribing the Chicago city inspectors is a way of life there.
Let’s hope that Ohio remembers.
There were 10,000 people attending a health care town hall in Dayton last week.
This is one of the reasons why I will not support Obama motors. That is why we have bought two Ford products this year. In the past I have been a GM man.
Marhofer?! You gotta be kiddin’ me!
It’s gonna get ugly in the future.
I’m wondering if a state with a republican majority could ban the sale of GM or Chrysler cars in their state for canceling legally held franchises in their state. Would be great payback.
Anyone else have a problem with that? What has happened to these dealers is a crying shame. But having Congress run the company is even worse.
Back in the 80s when I lived in Akron, I purchased several cars from Ron Marhofer. It was a small enough dealer that you could talk to him personally. He was one of the few car dealers that I found trustworthy. A good guy.
Sorry to hear this.
