Bamboo-wielding guards at the royal palace in Stockholm have damaged a portrait of the first Bernadotte king while in hot pursuit of a renegade jackdaw, TV4 reports.
The jackdaw snuck into the royal cabinet meeting room via an open chimney. Royal guards, who were armed with bamboo sticks, chased the bird into the room as it flew directly at the painting.
In their attempts to apprehend the flying fugitive, the guards ripped a hole in Fredric Westin's 1838 portrait of Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte, who reigned as King Karl XIV of Sweden February 5, 1818 until his death on March 8, 1844.
The fate of the jackdaw remains unknown, but TV4 reported that the Royal Court now plans to put a net over the chimneys to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Royal Guards should use those sticks on Islamic invasion population taking over Malmo.

- Thanks for the advice, but I'd prefer to use lachrymatory agents and rubber bullets in response to the “religious manifestations” of certain immigrants in the southernmost part of my country.
Or even better; never allow them in.
Sweden is under no obligation, whatsoever, to act as the social security office of the world just because we are one of the few well developed industrialized nations with a balanced national budget.
Sweden is governed by PC morons (even though the Government of today constitutes a major improvement compared to the horrors of the 1970s and 1980s) but is in no way unique as far as ignorance goes.
Show me a Western nation of today where the majority of the inhabitants fully realizes the threat of Islam.
So, government employees in Sweden are stupid and clumsy too! Guess it’s not an issue limited to US.

I agree. At least the Swedes do not elect them to run the country. I think instead of sticks used in Malmo a Bofors AK-5 is a better choice.
