Channel 4 in St Louis just ran a teaser on TBS saying they will interview the woman arrested at the Carnahan rally tonight at the 5pm telecast.
Anyone who has the capability to capture the interview - get your DVRs ready. $100 says the interview will serve to twist the events around and make the conservative handing out flags the cause of the raucous. If this was the other way around, the people would be charged with a hate crime and hanged in town square.
For those who don't know. St. Louis Proper (downtown) is run by democrats and unions. Has been for a long time. But St Louis County and further out in the metro region are turning more conservative every year. It's pretty typical. Those in the center of the donut are suckling on the teet of society, while the rest of us provide the milk.
I have no doubt it will be spun like silk.
Thank goodness for vids and cell phones.

Maybe they can interview the guy who got beat up afterward. Maybe even his lawyer when he announces that he will be filing hate crime charges against them.

Actually, much of St. Louis County has gone Democrat. Inner ring cities like Wellston, University City, Pine Lawn, Jennings, and all of North County are mostly Democrat. And cities like St. Ann, Bridgeton, and Maryland Heights have been union strongholds for a long time. West County and St. Charles County are Republican strongholds, as well as the bluff cities in Illinois, like Maryville, Glen Carbon, and Collinsville.

Well the first segment on Channel 4, glossed over the beating. Barely touched on it. Ridiculous.
Hey Larry Connors. Shame on you. If 2 NRA white guys had gone up to a black guy handing out flyers to stop gun violence and punched him and kicked him, you’d be calling it a hate crime and spend 30 minutes on the event. Instead, your report tonight talked more about the Police over-reacting than about the man being hit. Not once did you mention the victims race.

He’s going to wait until the last minute to announce the location of his next closed meeting. Then they said McCaskill cancelled a meeting for next Tuesday due to “security concerns.” They showed a clip from an “amateur” video which clearly showed the back of a man wearing a SEIU shirt, but a very blurry image of another SEIU goon being arrested. No mention at all was made of Kenneth Gladney.
Then there should be NO arrest because it’s all true.

David Brown, Gladney’s lawyer, released this statement earlier today:
Kenneth was attacked on the evening of August 6, 2009 at Rep. Russ Carnahan’s town hall meeting in South St. Louis County. I was at the town hall meeting as well and witnessed the events leading up to the attack of Kenneth. Kenneth was approached by an SEIU representative as Kenneth was handing out “Don’t Tread on Me” flags to other conservatives. The SEIU representative demanded to know why a black man was handing out these flags. The SEIU member used a racial slur against Kenneth, then punched him in the face. Kenneth fell to the ground. Another SEIU member yelled racial epithets at Kenneth as he kicked him in the head and back. Kenneth was also brutally attacked by one other male SEIU member and an unidentified woman. The three men were clearly SEIU members, as they were wearing T-shirts with the SEIU logo.
Kenneth was beaten badly. One assailant fled on foot; three others were arrested. Kenneth was admitted to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center emergency room, where he was treated for his numerous injuries. Kenneth was merely expressing his freedom of speech by handing out the flags. In fact, he merely asked people as they exited the town hall meeting whether they would like a flag. He in no way provoked any argument or altercation, as evidenced by the fact that three assailants were arrested.
I caught a glimpse of these on guys on Fox. Gladney would do well to hire another attorney. One who is more polished in media relations, public speaking, etc. If this makes it to the State run outlets (outside of Fox), Mr. Brown will be eaten alive and made to look like an imbecile.
Mr. Brown put himself up as Mr. Gladney’s attorney at the event. They are likely friends from church or something, but no offense to Mr. Brown, but he’s in way over his head. The left wing will throw everything they have it squashing this story and any future litigation. Call Gallup, Johnson, and Neumann or Thompson Coburn. Two powerhouse firms in the St Louis area. You need someone who can bring it and take it. Mr. Brown, you can stay on as his attorney, but you need help - and you need to stay away from interviews.
