Yeah, too bad about innocent Korean victims, but Korea honestly owes us a big fat 'thank you!'

In 1945, 70,000 Koreans lived in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Many were conscripted laborers, forced from their homes in Korea by the Japanese colonial government to work in factories supporting Tokyo's defense industries.

They were SLAVES.

They are getting compensation from the people who started the war and enslaved their people.

Now they want compensation from the people who ended the war and freed their people.

Every time they sell a KIA or Hyundai, a Samsung, or any number of other Korean products, they are getting their compensation.

If the Bomb had not been dropped, the war would have lasted just longer enough for the Red Army to conquer ALL of Korea.

Then the Hell that has been life for the Norks would have cursed the entire peninsula and we wouldn't be driving KIAs and the Soks wouldn't be twittering.

Truman was a Dem but he did the right thing on one thing.
Too bad he was such a pandering political putz that he forced the Japs to surrender on an obsolete warship named after his state and not on an aircraft carrier which actually won the war in the Pacific.

Nuclear research money for the leader.

I too, will celebrate the anniversary of the blast. My father-in-law was was one of a million, or so, sailors on ships scheduled for the Japan invasion. My wife would probably not have been born, had the invasion been necessary. Let's hear one for the atomic peacemakers!
