I too, will celebrate the anniversary of the blast. My father-in-law was was one of a million, or so, sailors on ships scheduled for the Japan invasion. My wife would probably not have been born, had the invasion been necessary. Let's hear one for the atomic peacemakers!

So sad. But why is our own, government financed, Voice of America broadcasting this? Yes, innocent Korean slave laborers were killed in the bombings, as were some American prisoners, both military and civillian. But to talk about Hiroshima and Nagasaki totally out of context is to present a distorted view of history, especially to younger audiences. Perhaps the Obama apologia mentality has infected our international broadcasting programs.
