As national media outlets and their employees depict town hall meeting protesters as right-wing outsiders organized by conservative organizations, the Atlanta affiliate of NBC aired a segment Friday evening that should act as a fine example of how this uprising in America should be covered.
11 Alive reporter Duffie Dixon not only showed a heated exchange between Rep. David Scott (D-13th District) and a man asking him about his position on pending healthcare legislation in the House, but also interviewed the questioner when Scott erroneously contended the man was not a constituent and was only trying to hijack his meeting.
As Dixon shared with her viewers, not only wasn't the questioner an organized outsider, he was actually a local doctor (video embedded below the fold, h/t Hot Air via Terri Green):

In May 2007, it was reported that the business owes more than $150,000 in back taxes and penalties. Scott's campaigns have paid the company more than $500,000 since 2002 for office rent, printing, T-shirts, and other services. He has also paid his wife, two daughters, and son-in-law tens of thousands of dollars for campaign work such as fund raising and canvassing.
In 2007, Scott was named one of the 22 most corrupt members of Congress by the political watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington In addition to the above complaints Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington also brought into question David Scott's character after he called his Congressional opponent, Deborah Honeycutt, a 'bitch.' After it was reported that Congressman Scott had called Dr. Deborah Honeycutt a 'bitch,' Donzella James, Scott's 2008 Democratic Primary Opponent, issued this statement: "[David Scott] has been disrespectful to me and other women in my presence. Even in mixed company, he often makes vulgar references that are less than gentlemanly."
Not surprised he called his opponent a “bitch.” Looked like he was very close to letting loose a racial epithet on the doctor in the clip. Hateful, corrupt, vulgar, mendacious. . . CongressThug Scott you are an embarassment to your constituents, your party. . . and really, all of humanity.

It is clear that letters and faxes and phone calls to DC and to District Offices are pretty much “old school” and are not working and a lot of these Congressman are going to vote for Socialized Medicine even if 70% of their constituents are angry and opposed. This TOWN HALL approach seems to be the best for now. Of course, they will then move to stop those, and we will have to find some other way to smoke out and corner these sniveling, fleeing rats. They can run but they cannot hide. LOL>

How did THIS get past the national headquarters of NBC?? Here’s a reporter who could wind up fired. Everyone at NBC knows you don’t report anything embarrassing to democrats!

We need to keep pushing their buttons until they completely lose their minds. They are in the midst of a major power implosion. They thought every socialist plan they had would just slip through in an unstoppable juggernaut. Reality is hitting them hard these days.
