Francis Schaeffer must be rolling in his grave.

Since when did Little Frankie start anything? His Dad Francis Schaeffer was a great intellectual and great Christian. I knew Francis Schaeffer, and believe me Little Bit you are no Francis Schaeffer!

Question and answer very well scripted. He almost started the answer before he even heard the question.

I bet they had a nice rehearsal.

This must be one of those exceptions to the rule: like father, like son. It reminds me of Eli and his two sons.

Precisely. As was said upthread, Little Bit, you are no Francis Schaeffer.

Referring to the President as hitler and all members of his party as nazis is so last year, I mean it was the thing to do...LAST year. Just like dissent and protesting was patriotic... LAST year

"Do you think that calling the president a Nazi...is an implicit call for politically motivated violence"?

Were you refering to the kooks who used to call President Bush a Nazi, Mr. Maddow?

It happens....

Our great Ronald Reagan produced little Ronnie...

..and esteemed Francis Shaeffer produced little Frankie.

Both little men (& I use the term-(men)- loosely) could only wish they were as relevant as their dads.

Reagan & Schaeffer, the men, are larger than life....

..sadly, their little boys are cheap imitations.

As with little Ronnie (& his sister) the left is only too gleeful to use & extol them....

I think we can say (& God ultimately will or has decided) that little Frankie has back slid probably beyond redemption....He's busy working for the enemy.

Frankie thinks he's embarrassing his dad...

...little Frankie is only embarrassing himself...

Francis Schaeffer is beyond the pain of a selfish, uncaring child.

Yeah but since it’s MSNBC, who would even see this except the three lefties that’s their audience and those who lost the remote

He sounds like he needs somebody to get shot to vindicate his prophecy; so he’s the one calling for it.

And yet it was Franky Schaeffer’s book, either “bad news for modern man” or “Sham Pearls...”, that absolutely convinced me that abortion was bad wrong (early 80s)

There are some weird family dynamics in the Schaeffer family. Francis is a founder of the modern Christian constitutionalist movement, Frank becomes a leftist, the Frank’s son becomes a Marine.

I’m trying to be more sympathetic and forgiving in the spirit of a father.

Frank Schaeffer and Ron Reagan remind me of Gary Crosby back some years ago trashing his father Bing Crosby.

Bing Crosby wasn’t perfect, Gary later came to regret the trashing.

I hope some day Frank and Ron figure out the good in their fathers and stop the trashing.
