Obama Birth Story Unraveling - Mother In Univ Class In Seattle 15 Days After Obama Supposedly Born!

Jerone Corsi, Ph. D. is about to drop another bombshell, casting further doubt on the stories of President Obama's birth.

Dr. Corsi, whose doctorate is from Harvard, is an excellent researcher and investigative journalist. He was the driving force behind the Swift Boat veterans telling the truth about War Phony John Kerry. He is also the author of "Obamanation."

In his latest research, to be splashed on WND early next week, Dr. Corsi will reveal that he has documentary evidence that the mother of Barack Obama Jr., Ms Stanley A. Durham-Soetoro, began evening classes at the University of Washington in Seattle on August 19, 1961. This is just 15 days after she supposedly gave birth to President Obama in Hawaii.

We are expected to believe that in just15 days, she gave birth, stayed in the hospital for a few days, them packed her things and left her house in Hawaii, moved to Seattle, got established there, registered for, then began classed in Seattle, all the while caring for her newborn.

The new evidence also destroys another Obama legend-lie. According to the President’s autobiography, Obama Sr. and Durhan-Soetoro were supposedly deeply in love and made a happy home together in Hawaii, complete with their baby, until Obama Sr. had to move to Boston to attend Harvard and could not afford take Stanley and baby Barack with him.

According to Dr. Corsi’s new written evidence, Durham-Soetoro was in college classes, thousands of miles away from Hawaii and did not return to the islands until long Obama Sr. left for Harvard.

Dr. Corsi also reveals that a Hawaii Certificate of Live Birth requires no proof of any kind and could simply be issued on the sworn statement of one parent.

All of this simply adds to the fast growing uncertainty and suspicion over Obama’s supposed birth stories. Is August 4, 1961, his real birth date? Where was he really born? When he traveled to the Middle East in the 1990s, he did not have a US passport. What country issued him a passport, and why? Why won’t he release the one document that would answer all the questions?

It just gets deeper and deeper.

There are so many errors in the story that the credibility is now damaged beyond repair!

The excuse of being too tired, etc. is not acceptable as such damages further threaten the Free Republic as a source of good information.

I would suggest to remove this thread and clean up the story.

Personally I don't find this hard to believe -- except the parts that Corsi obviously made up out of thin air. Starting classes in Seattle doesn't mean she wasn't already admitted to the college there well beforehand, and many colleges do most of their registration right at the beginning of each term (especially for new students or students returning from a leave of absence). And we certainly have no reason to believe she didn't have any help caring for the baby. Sister? Mother? Aunt? Hardly improbable.

A college friend of mine got pregnant during her freshman year, went home to the West Coast at the end of the spring semester, had the baby sometime in late July or early August, and was back in school full time (in the same college, on the East Coast) when classes started in late August, with newborn and now-husband in tow. She'd been planning to return to school in September and she did. Nothing odd about that. Her husband stayed home and provided full-time baby care, just as some relative or friend of Obama's mother (or perhaps even relative of his father) may have done.

Of course, President Obama could help by filling in some early biographical info, even if there's something on his original birth certificate that he doesn't want made public (possibly just because it would be embarrassing to some other family member). On the other hand, he may not really know a lot of the details, and doesn't want to start giving unverified information based on what he remembers being told as a child, and then be called out on inaccuracies that are later dug up by someone else.

I know I'd be hard-pressed to provide an accurate timeline of my mother's whereabouts in the months just before and after my birth. I know she and my father met in Indonesia while they were both working for the US Government there, and that she was already pregnant when they came back to the US. My parents are still alive, so I could go ask them for details, but their memories may be a bit fuzzy too (they're both in their 80s), and if they were dead, there really wouldn't be any way for me to find out, for example, if they arrived back in the US very shortly before my birth, or quite a while before. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if there are a handful of old friends of theirs from that era who would say they thought I was born in Indonesia based on inaccurate memories, or on inaccurate assumptions they made decades ago when they heard my parents had had a baby.

If people want to pursue questions about Obama's origins and be taken seriously, they need to collect enough facts to actually raise a serious question, and not embellish their flimsy "bombshells" with statements that are obviously just unfounded assumptions. Just stick to facts that they have clear support for. That's the key credibility feature that's missing from virtually all the "birther" claims that are being spread around.

Even though it looks like the article has been corrected, all the comments posted leave one to wonder what was wrong, and why you didn't just have it pulled to alleviate the confusion. Now it just makes it seem foolish, and the DU will jump all over it and the FR. I suggest this is removed and submitted totally correct (as you see it) and without all the confusing posts. Just MHO.

All transcription errors. The same story, also by Corsi, is on World Net Daily, with a copy of Stanley Ann's transcript from the University of Washington.

From that image, even if one expands it a bit, it's a little hard to tell if the class start date is 8/19/61 or 9/19/61. However 8/19/61 was a Saturday, an odd day for classes to start..unless it was a Saturday class, possible for an extension class, which is what the transcript shows it was. OTOH, 9/19/61 was a Tuesday. Also an unusual day for classes to start.

I checked the *regular*, not extension class, start dates for U. Washington for 2000/1/2/3/4/5/7/8/9 0,1,2,3 classes started on Monday. 4,5,6,7,8,9 they started or will start. on Wednesday. No Tuesdays, but all are in late September, except one which was October 1.

For the extension courses, I could only find the start dates for 2009, which is September 30 for "most classes". The classes Stanley Ann took are listed as extension, not correspondence, which would probably mean they would be evening or weekend classes.

n 1962 the Fall Quarter at the University of Washington did not begin until the last week of September or the first week in October.

I went to NYU in 1961. In those days most colleges used the old (unmodified) semester system. In that system there was a long Christmas thru New Year's holiday, followed by the last couple of weeks of class and semester finals near the end of January. Since that time most schools not on the quarter system use the new (modified) semester system, starting before Labor Day, with finals ending before Christmas, followed by a long inter-semester break.

I thought McCain was officially born in American territory, what was then the Canal Zone territory, as opposed to being born in non-American-held Panama ? Were he born in Panama proper, that would’ve been noted in all his biographical data.
