To: Charles Henrickson

I have to say the basic story, that it would be nearly impossible to give birth in Hawaii and be going to class in Seattle 15 days later, is simply untrue. Some people are very organized. When I got into IT back in 1980 I had an instructor who graduated from college, got married, moved, and started her new job all in the same week. Better her than me!

Wasn't this called something else back then?

Like data processing; the so-called PC wasn't widespread yet.

All that was around in those days were mainframes and some DEC and other minis ...
