Durbin on town hall chaos: ‘This is clearly being orchestrated’ Posted: August 9th, 2009 11:04 AM ET

From CNN Political Producer Rebecca Sinderbrand

WASHINGTON (CNN) – The Senate’s second-ranking Democrat slammed recent town hall protests Sunday as organized disruptions of the democratic process.

“We have these screaming groups on either side. That isn't helpful. Let's be honest about this. Town meetings are not bean bag, I've had hundreds of them and sometimes folks get upset. And that's part of America, part of our process,” he told CNN’s John King on “State of the Union.”

“But this is clearly being orchestrated and these folks have instructions. They come down from a Texas lobbyist in Washington…" he said.

It isn’t, but even if it were, so what?

I sure hope the 2010 elections are similarly organized.

This is how out of touch Dems like Dick Durbin really are. They don't realize that organizing free-thinking conservatives is dang-near impossible? They are used to their sheep that they keep on a financial leash doing whatever they ask of them.

We don't operate that way, DICK.

I ti being orchestrated. By millions of individual Americans who are fed-up and angry.

They are downloading the Dem Health Care Plan HERE and elsewhere and educating themselves.

They are also reading the cited quotes of the main architect of the plan and Chief Advisor to Obama on Health Care HERE and elsewhere, and seeing the context of the plan from the designer of it.

So, when Sarah Palin callis it evil, they know for themselves that she speaks the truth.

So they are taking their feelings...and their own documentation...to their reps and getting in their faces about it.

Do republicans ever make crazy accusations like this?

Do you want people who make things up against you when it suits them, controlling your health care?

“But this is clearly being orchestrated and these folks have instructions. They come down from a Texas lobbyist in Washington…" he said.

That's some desperate logic. The town hall meeting that I went to in Cherry Hill, NJ was held by john adler (D). My wife, children, and I attended after receiving an automated phone call notifying us of the meeting- just a couple of hours before the meeting was held. The majority of those in attendance, including adler, were against the health care bill.

And the pro-health care groups were orchestrated even more dangerously, even incited to riot by the President of the United States. That’s some high level orchestrating, from the world’s top celebrity ‘community organizer’.

Riiiiiight, and that one Texas lobbyist got all the way to Ohio in the last couple of weeks to get 8,000 - 10,000 folks to come out and hear Judge Andrew Napolitano, among others.

Oh, and what was that about the lobbyists in the Obama administration that I just read? Something about pharmaceutical companies, or....well, maybe someone can refresh my memory.

Bah.

We used to say the same thing about the Democrats when we saw the anti Iraq War rallies. I think this type of talk is done when the majority is in office. If the minority is against something, they yell...they paid people to come to these town halls or in this case “they are orchestrating”. I saw something on one of the show that the press said that a women at a rally was a regular person...only to find out she had worked for one of the Republican senators....lol. How embarassing to be found out like that. I am sure she wishes she could find a rock to hid under.

Oh, horses**t. They’re all just whistling past the graveyard; they know full well that none of this is “orchestrated”. They are playing to the base via their mouthpieces (e.g. CNN, MSNBC, et al).

Those attending, those who see the coverage know better and.......guess what, Dems? They DO all have one thing in common:

They vote.

No, and I wish they would have when the anti-war protestors put on Freddy Krueger costumes and marched (the thread is on here somewhere) with each protestor wearing a big sign with the name of a troop who had been killed. I always wondered if the troops’ families had been asked permission to be part of that display and if not, why was that considered OK?

The rules are different in 2009 for dissent? Since when? Who signed it into law - who passed it?

Organizing the banlon rebellion is about as easy as herding cats. Something about cutting MEDICARE $500 Billion and drafting Ezekiel “Death Angel” Emmanuel’s meticulous instructions for govt-run mandatory “advanced care life planning” sessions tends to rile the old folks and those who love them.

Name names you democrat putz. Start an investigation of this “Texas lobbbyist”. We’re waiting.

INDIVIDUALS RESIDING IN POSSESSIONS
12 OF THE UNITED STATES.—Any individual who is a
13 bona fide resident of any possession of the United
14 States (as determined under section 937(a)) for any
15 taxable year (and any qualifying child residing with
16 such individual) shall be treated for purposes of this
17 section as covered by acceptable coverage during
18 such taxable year.

The thing that stood out to me in this paragraph was that there is no citizenship requirement, you need only be a resident.
