And if conservatives don’t get up and roar, McCain will be re-elected in 2010 for six more years of hell. Think 2016.

I'm still hoping for J. D. Hayworth. I think Simcox has little chance against Juan.

It has to be a real quandry what hat Senator Lindsey Graham will put on each morning.

The last person he talked to the night before, probably determines which one.

If it was a Democrat, then (D) it is.  If it was a Republican then perhaps it would be an (R).

If he was talking to a person about green issues, I suppose (G)  would have a fair chance.

If he was talking to someone about the merits of the old Soviet Union's policies, it could even be the (P), of the Soviet Politburo.

Now he wants to wear the (S) hat of the socialists, in their quest of open borders.  And he seems to be very supportive of the Fascist
policies of our President.  So (F) wouldn't be totally out of the question.  (C) is certainly to be expected on occasion as well.

Graham has an equal opportunity open door policy on his moral principles.

My policy on him has it's door slammed shut.  I don't support his ilk.

I posted a pro-Conley thread on the Liberty Caucus room, but it was removed.

I’m tellin’ you with the mistakes Republicans in SC are making, that state is likely to go Dem in the next election: Mark Sanford’s inability to keep is life together, Bob Inglis going against his constiuents and insulting church goers, and Grahamnesty.... they are all going in the dumpster.

My son and his family lives there and it’s no wonder you can’t get normal folk in SC to be excited about any candidate. The view them as all the same — crooks and liars.

Based on that cheesy grin, I think he’s getting his prostate exam.

His live-in boyfriend in South Carolina does that frequently.

Patriots were able to turn back multiple attempts by Ted Kennedy, John McCain and George Bush Jr., to shove their sick dream of Mexico Merger down our throats.

Unfortunately, there are many fewer patriots in Congress today.

Word. McCain can try to minimize the damage by pretending to be a conservative now, but the problem for him is that we KNOW him and his tricks.

Some freepers supported Conley. He was obviously better than Graham on some things, notably immigration.

But I feel that it at best would have been a push, likely worse to have him in the Senate. It was hilarious to see that happen to the SC rats though.

I don’t trust anyone who would use the rat party as a vehicle. He would have been a wildcard in terms of voting record. Pat Buchanite turned slightly unlikely Ron Paul supporter turned Democrat? I checked to see what the dUmmies though of him. They all wanted him to beat Graham cracker. Graham votes the right way most of the time despite his flaws. I’d have to hear him say he was against rat party organization of the senate before I’d have thought of supporting him. He might be so against the GOP now that you can’t be so sure he wouldn’t back rat organization.

It’s a pity Graham’s primary opponent did not have a well funded campaign, thus avoiding this issue.

......

Did you guys hear Mel Martinez’s comments on Sotomayor?

“We do not have to sit around and try to divine whether someday she will answer the siren call to judicial activism, as I have heard someone say on the floor of the Senate,” Martinez said. “You do not have to wonder. You can wonder, and it might give you an excuse to vote against someone who is otherwise qualified, but the fact is, with a 17-year record, you should have a pretty good idea whether that siren call would have been answered by now. To my estimation, it has not been.”

Clueless Mel.
