ROMULUS, Mich.: There were no buses, no swastikas, not a piece of Astroturf in sight.
But there was name-calling, jeering, red faces and finger-pointing as Michigan residents shot back with fury at a congressional town-hall meeting geared to explaining President Obama's health care plan.
Rep. John D. Dingell, a Democrat and a lead author of health care legislation in the House, did his best to remain composed, even as many constituents and other residents argued that the plan is socialized medicine and rained down fury against a smaller group of supporters for the plan.
"You're a fraud, you have not read the bill," screamed Mike Sola, who got directly in the lawmaker's face in furious confrontation, wheeling his 36-year-old son, Scott, who has cerebral palsy, directly to the podium before police stepped in and encouraged the Milan, Mich., man to leave. He asserted that the bill would not help his disabled child.
"Fascist America," Mr. Sola screamed on his way out.

Too bad the Halloween Outlet stores aren’t open yet. I think a plastic pitchfork would be the perfect accessory when attending a town hall meeting, even if you don’t intend to say a word.

If "the shootings begin" out of frustration and in response to provocation, the result will be disaster.
Restoration of legal government cannot and will not occur without a careful plan, and without, at a minimum, a consensus that there is no other way forward.

I’ve not seen this anywhere here or elsewhere. Friday morning on Detroit’s WJR, the Great Voice of the Great Lakes, Frank Beckmann was interviewing a participant or at least an attempting participant to the Dingle gig last Thursday night.
There were two thing of interest, one seen in the video posted on this site from yesterday. I only report what I heard but can not substantiate it.
Statement 1: There was some guy carrying around a sign in the meeting with a face of Zer0 with a Hitler mustache painted on it. Subsequently, the very same fellow was observed distributing Pro-Dingle Pro-Single Health System brochures. In other words, the carrying of the sign was a total work of a shill for Dingle.
Statement 2: Before the doors were open for the general public waiting in the lobby, a number of people had entered into the room from another doorway to sit in the front rows of reserved seating. When the doors were opened to permit some of those waiting in the lobby to enter. This observer saw a man carrying a sign with a swastika on it. Hence, the swastika did not enter the room from the general public’s doorway but the “insider” entering the other door with Dingle, the Acorn A$$holes and the Union Thugs. I’d like to take that sign an place it somewhere within Queen Nancy where the sun don’t shine.
What a bunch of total liars.
If any reader can confirm this, I’d welcome that posting.
