The targeting of the president (Racist America)
Daily Voice ^ | 8/10/09 | Keith Boykin

Posted on 08/10/2009 12:15:46 PM PDT by pissant

In the past few months, we've witnessed the unleashing of the radical elements of the Republican Party base. The anti-tax economic conservatives, racist Obama-haters, gun-toting Second Amendment fanatics and birth certificate conspiracy theorists have two things in common: they're mostly white and they despise President Obama.

It doesn't matter if the administration rescues American journalists from North Korea, kills Somali pirates off the coast of Africa or ends the violence in Iraq, nothing will please this crowd.

And it doesn't matter that the president's domestic policies of providing universal health care, middle class tax cuts, and economic stability will benefit the very people who cry the loudest. This is not about policy. It's about politics. The politics of rage and race.

"As tensions are inflamed at health care town hall meetings across the country, a dangerous trend of Hitler comparisons, Stalin comparisons, and all-around dictator comparisons to President Barack Obama is taking shape," writes Tolu Olurunda in his Daily Voice column today, "Do some conservatives secretly wish for the assassination of Barack Obama?"

Frankly, it is OK with me if he goes back to Chicago or wherever.

Just be truthful about the truth of his origins and history.

I suspect this would lead to either his impeachment or resignation.

We can deal with Biden as President - he will not be nearly as destructive.

Would someone please point out to these race-baiting morons that the population of the United States is mostly white, and any representative sample of a mostly white population will be, by definition, mostly white.

It isn't racism, it's STATISTICS!

Take that dog-eared, worn our race card and shove it deep into one of their warm dark orifices where the sun doesn't shine.

While they are rummaging around in there, perhaps they could produce a birth certificate and a few other documents to prove Mr. Obama is in fact a Natural Born Citizen?

As for Obama, I despise his policies, it does not matter that he is half white.

As for the Second Amendment, birth certificates and other documentation and other matters of Constitutional import, I do not view being a 'fanatic' as derogatory. If it had not been for people fanatic in their beliefs, we would not have had this Republic, and unless we get more Constitutionsl 'fanatics', we might not keep it.

Death of a President, the fictional documentary by British director/creator Gabriel Range, is set to be released in the United States. One of the most talked-about movies from the Toronto Film Festival has sold the distribution rights to Newmarket Films. This will not be the first provocative film the company has handled, Mel Gibson used Newmarket to distribute The Passion of the Christ. Nemarket reportedly paid $1 million for Death of a President and is expected to release the film in the US in the coming months. The movie is set around events that eventually culminate in the assassination of President George W Bush. Maybe a good holiday movie? The film was shot as if it were a TV documentary, although, obviously the events are fictional. Range used film stock from three visits President Bush made to Chicago. The movie opens with demonstrations in Chicago against Bush as he visits the city in 2007. As the US President is leaving a hotel after giving a speech, he is shot by a sniper. In an interview Range explained audience reaction, “The reaction of the general public was very good. “People didn’t know what to expect. Our film has a very striking premise but it is not sensational or gratuitous. I hope people will see it as a balanced film and compelling drama. It is an oblique look at the ways the United States has changed since 9/11. We use the lens of the future to explain the past.” “We portrayed the horror of assassination. … I don’t think anyone would get the idea of assassinating Bush from this film,” Range said. Hollywood legend Kevin Costner, on the other hand, was negatively affected by the assassination film. He says, “It’s awfully hard if you’re his children, his wife, his mother, his dad; there’s a certain thing we can’t lose as human beings, which is empathy for maybe the hardest job in the world. “Whether we think it’s being performed right or not we can’t, like, wish…or think that’s even cute.” Ever the patriot, Costner. Well, I suppose he has played enough of the American hero roles… {Source}

Nope, I don't want Obama assassinated.

I wouldn't mind seeing most journalists strangled to death with each other's guts, however.

These are the same people who spent the last eight years targeting George W. Bush. This article is just another slander against people who disagree with Obama’s policies.

Assassination is:

1) highly illegal;

2) immoral:

3) more than likely to accomplish the exact opposite of what the assassin intended.

Nothing I’ve said justifies demonizing people who don’t like Obama’s policies.

Keith Boykin quotes another writer for this Black propaganda website (Tulu Olurunda) and makes the same kind of totally unsubstantiated accusations against White Americans who oppose HR 3200 - Obamacare. This is race-baiting 101. A transparent attempt to use Black American's wholehearted support of Barack Obama as a wedge to convince the same Black Americans that only 'racist' White people oppose Obama's monstrosity of a health care 'plan'.

Sure, it's despicable - but we're talking about leftist Democrats, here; Acorn operatives obtaining fake names for voting lists, leather-clad, club-wielding Black Panthers 'patrolling' voting places, SEIU thugs beating up protesters against Obamacare and the 24-7 use of the well-worn 'race card' whenever anyone opposes just about anything put forth by the Obama administration...even a government take-over of our nation's health care system.

It's getting real old, fast and is working against the left and those supporting Obamacare. American citizens fearing that their health care is going to be severely jeopardized if Obamacare passes are becoming mighty angry about being called 'racists', 'thugs', 'a mob' and generally, demonized by leftist loons, including the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, simply for exercising their First Amendment rights to protest a government plan that they rightly oppose.

I believe the true 'face' of the left is being exposed now. Their utter contempt for those Americans who dare to oppose the left's insane ideas and dangerous plans to effectively strip the elderly of health care if they become seriously ill and, instead, basically urge them to just curl up and die to 'conserve resources'. This insanity is not likely to be meekly accepted for the millions of U.S. senior citizens who have fought in U.S. wars, worked hard and paid taxes their whole life to now be pushed aside if they become seriously ill and, as they object to being marginalized, called nasty names by a handful of leftist politicians, union goons and Black writers screaming 'racist'. Ah, the race card. Frankly, the left and Blacks in particular have severely overused what was once a very effective political tool to silence opposition. Now, it's just ranting and no one pays much attention, nor should they.

Obama and his administration, through their arrogance, are exposing the progressive agenda in a way that would never be understood or believed otherwise. The cold war has been transformed into a domestic invasion of America and the Obama administration is leading the way. The administration’s unprecedented use of organized labor and community organizations to attempt to squelch or disrupt free citizens may just be the tip of the iceberg. We do not advocate or wish for any violence toward anyone. This administration and its policies are achieving what no amount of debate could ever accomplish; they are putting a face on 21st Century Fascism.

Ah yes, the Racist word. These Libs have a virtual Dictionary of words to describe those who recognize them for what they really are.

‘Un-American’, ‘Mob’, ‘Homophobe’, ‘Nazi’ are just a few of these words...

You really got to laugh don’t you. Everything computes down to ‘Racism’ with these people. Completely ignores any of the substance. When conjoined with the ‘Purple Shirts’ (SEIU Types) is classic Fascism IMO.

Wait, Comrade Barry killed the Somali pirates? Funny, I thought US Navy SEAL snipers did that.

Comrade Barry ended violence in Iraq? No, I think there is till violence in Iraq.

I’m waiting for the day when the Left will report that The One is walking on water and healing the impossible to heal.
