Libya was thought to be trying to obtain North Korean long-range missiles.

They dismantled the program in 2003. Voluntarily. A significant change in stance and a major win for the Bush administration IMO.

Libyan Leader Mu'ammar Qadhafi: Libya Was on the Brink of Producing a Nuclear Bomb

O..RLY?

This from a guy that sleeps in a tent? I really believe that Libya needs to be on the brink of producing indoor plumbing before they move up to nuclear physics...

That Mu'ammar, what a card!

Regards,
GtG

Smiling at you...I believe Libya may have had some help at the time (according to stuff I read over the years on the internet).

Yep, Qadhafi gave up weapons of mass destruction when he saw what happened to Saddam. The American news media has never had anything to say about this. I wonder why.
