WASHINGTON The fathers of Sarah and Todd Palin will be joining forces this month to help an Idaho congressional candidate who's getting an early start on his 2010 election bid.
Both Chuck Heath and Jim Palin will be in Idaho later on this month to help out Vaughn Ward, a Republican candidate for Congress. Theyll be attending events for Ward at the end of the month in Boise and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Ward's campaign spokesman said.
The former Alaska governor's father is an Idaho native who graduated from Sandpoint High School in northern Idaho. Palin, Sen. John McCains vice-presidential running mate last year, is herself is a 1987 graduate of the University of Idaho.

Sarah also released a message on Facebook regarding the economic consequences of the disastrous Waxman-Markey “Cap and Trade” bill:
This is a solid family. Got to love it!
I love this. Sounds like the perfect race and candidate for her to step up for—and I like the strategy of sending the two dads early as well.
Sarah Palin and her family are like a breath of fresh air and cool, clear, clean water to those of us in the current dry, forlorn desert of Obama marxist ideology, to those of us who love this nation, its traditional values, and way of life.
"The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil" - Sarah Palin, August 8, 2009SARAH'S FAREWELL SPEECH AS GOVERNOR - GREAT READ
"We face challenging times with some hell-bent on tearing down our nation by perpetuating pessimism and apologizing for America. They suggest that our best days were yesterdays. But how can this pessimism exist? Proof of our greatness and pride is all around us today. We produce proud and great volunteers who sacrifice everything for their country.
"We can resist enslavement to big central government that crushes hope and opportunity. We must be wary of government largesse. It doesnt come free and often accepting it takes away everything that is free. Melting into Washingtons powerful and caretaking arms will only lead to suck away the incentive to work hard and chart our own course. This will only contribute to an unstable economy and dizzying national debt, and it will make us less free.
"We dont have to feel that we must beg an allowance from Washington except to beg the allowance to be self-determined.
"See, in order to be self-sufficient (we) must be allowed to develop, to drill and build and climb to fulfill our promise! We can not start believing that government is the answer. It cant make you happy or healthy or wealthy or wise. What can? It is the wisdom of the people and our families and our small businesses and industrious individuals. And it is Gods grace helping those who help themselves." - Sarah Palin, July 26, 2009
Sarah has now initiated her brilliant flanking manuever against the left, the DNC, the MSM and the RINOs that has them all in a frenzy wondering what her next move will be and how it will be perceived...and has them frothing at the mouth in their efforts to discredit her.
Sarah will now get her book out, go on tour, give speeches and promote conservatie principles all over this country in the midst of the Obama administration disaster and gain great political capital in the process. Then she will support conservative candidates in 2010 and help them win, amassing much more political capital. She will then take all of that and make an awesome, stunning run for the Presidency in 2012.
"...like that grizzly guards her cubs, as a mother naturally guards her own. I will keep that vow wherever the road may lead." - Sarah Palin, July 26, 2009
...and as to Obama care? Read the outrageous quotes from the architect of the plan himself, the chief advisor to the President on Health Care, and Policy Advisor to the Congress, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel:
...and on the lighter side, take your mind off the Obamanation for a few minutes and enjoy some beautiful Western US scenery slideshows.
I thought her father was the antiwar, republican candidate for president for 1968 that claimed that the American military had brainwashed him.
Maybe that is someone else, I’ll check my records.
Getting warmed up for the 2012 blitz???????
Sarah’s the first one in her family to ever be involved in public office.
ansel made a jab at Romney.
Are you thinking of Terry Eagleton?
It was Romney’s dad. The Romneys are traditionally liberal and actively anti-conservative. Romney’s father stormed out of the 1964 Republican convention in protest against Goldwater and conservatism, (Ronald Reagan spoke there).
Mitt Romney dropped his republican registration in protest against President Reagan and his conservatism and Mitt Romney came out against the 1994 conservative, Gingrich led revolution.
Sweet. I love Sarah and Todd. With parents like these,no wonder these two turned out ass good as they did!
Re: myth romney - good info to know about his anti-conservatism. It simply adds to his RINO status...
Romney re registered as republican in late 1993 in preparation for running for the Ted Kennedy senate seat, 1993 was also the year that he had ceased giving money to and doing fund raising events for liberal democrat candidates, Romney also voted for Paul Tsongas in the democrat presidential primary of 1992, the same year that he was doing fund raising for democrats trying to take a GOP senate seat.
For years all of his political donations and fund raising work had gone to liberal, pro abortion, anti gun democrat candidates .
Mitt Romney was a 56 year old man when he won his one and only political office, conservatives that have been rolled by rino after rino need to ask themselves, what were Romney's views for the first 56 years of his life? Why does he have zero connection to conservatism until the campaign for 2008 was implemented in 2006?
Who is the man behind the 150 million dollar 2006 to 2009 makeover marketing curtain?
