Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Steny Hoyer have called the constituents speaking out against ObamaCare at town halls “un-American,” and that didn’t slow them down. Will calling them “racists” do it? MS-NBC’s Ed Schultz tosses a softball to Rep. John Dingell (D-MI), last seen being flummoxed by his own constituents last week.
At the time, Dingell dismissed his critics as “infiltrators.” Today, they’re the equivalent of the Ku Klux Klan (via The Weekly Standard):

We’ve always said you can tell what Democrats have been up to by what they accuse us of doing. More true now than ever, as, for a change, conservatives are being active, and dems don’t have enough time to come up with decent lies.
Dingell reminds me of someone who wants to lead sheeple. Where ARE the sheeple? And why don’t the rest of you take the advice of our fearless leader and shut up?
I believe Dingell was once a Klan member. If he wasn’t, he should prove it.

Last I checked the Klan was Democrats and the only reason any are Republican is that they were Democrats that became Republican.
What next? If this doesn’t fire up Americans to oust the DemocRATs from Congress, nothing will. A lot of Dems here also oppose healthcare so they are calling them names as well.

The Baby Boomers the largest cohort of voters out there, and not all of them are self hating loons who want to die from lack of medical coverage. I think the Democrats the party of rich white do-gooder ghouls and brown racists is in for quite a backlash.
Clearly, this is a cooridinated effort by the left-wing MSM and the Socialist Democrat party to defame ALL opponents of Socialism as “racists”.
It seems to be largely backfiring, but I think there is a real chance the Democrats will either successfully implement a policy of persecuting and silencing their “racist” opposition, or they might inadvertantly creat a race war.

Who cares what they call us. Even if we go along with ObamaCare the vicious left will think of us as Nazi’s and Klansmen anyway.
So look at it this way: If we stop this attack on our very liberty, they’ll call us bad names but we’ll be free. If we go along, we’ll lose our freedom and when we protest the forced sterilization of our brothers and sisters they’ll (you guessed it) still call us Nazi’s and Klansman and all kinds of other mean names like “reactionary” and “throwback” and “bigot” and anything else they can imagine.
I choose freedom, Baby! Let’s fight ObamaCare with everything we’ve got.
If we didn’t live in Bizzaro world, I would say that insulting your constituents was not a good way to campaign. However, the ignorant, racist, rednecks of Pennsylvania have shown that politician’s distain is not a reason to vote for someone else.

They seem fearful they're not going to get their free stuff anymore if 'those uppity white conservatives' keep exercising their Constitutional rights to protest bad government.
Technically, that's already been done - recall Nepalitano's homeland security memo from a couple months ago describing us as terrorists and profiling us by our bumber stickers.
