Has CNN banned talk radio show hosts from its on air programming?
Such was reported by TVNewser a few hours ago (h/t Steve Malzberg):
Exclusive: TVNewser has learned, and a CNN spokesperson confirms, that in his morning editorial meeting today, CNN/U.S. president Jon Klein asked his show producers to avoid booking talk radio hosts

The leftist Democrats should be frightened. They made the stupid mistake of thinking that they had the media controlled and the votes in congress to pass anything, coupled with a president who they thought was the reincarnation of JFK (who was never that popular while president) and that America was just going to bow down and blindly go along with whatever bitter pill Obama and the Democrats served up. Surprise! This isn't Venezuela after all.
No Conservative talk radio hosts on CNN? Does that exclude Bill Bennett? All this does is really show how Fair and Balance the Fox News Network is in having both sides discuss the issues on virtually every opinion piece (most of CNN is leftist opinion disguised as news).
This returns CNN to the one-sided leftist socialist network that was not affectionately known as the Clintoon Notnews Network in the ‘90’s.
We will have to come up with a similar name that reflects the “Pravda-like” qualities of CNN now. Something like Communist Notnews Network.

The reporter has it backwards. They are going to ban radio talk show hosts as guests and perhaps guest hosts. This was a meeting of producers, the guys who book guests.
They probably will continue to use radio talk show hosts as hosts because they can really talk a blue streak and make sense. They also pull in advertising better.

Are they so weak that they can’t stand having conservative voices on their shows? Meanwhile, Fox is accused of bias. This is, in fact an attack on conservative freedom of speech.

To be perfectly blunt, getting his brains blown out was the most popular think JFK ever did.
Having barely one one of the tightest elections in history, but with hindsight being 20-20, it is hard to find anybody who will admit to having voted for Nixon over JFK.
The media was all over the Kennedys after the election. Kind of like today, except they were better dressed. The media created Camelot and the assassination made him a martyr.
The media has always loved the Kennedys far more than the public does. John Kennedy quite possibly would have been a one term president had he not been assassinated. His internal polling wasn't good, and he was at risk of losing Texas, which had not ever voted Republican in any presidential election. That said, they are an interesting bunch to study. It's kind of a combination of the Ewings from the series Dallas and the Sopranos.

They used to have Neil Boortz on quite a bit, mainly because he was right there in Atlanta and I think their studios are fairly close, if not in the same complex.
