Militia groups with gripes against the government are regrouping across the country and could grow rapidly, according to an organization that tracks such trends.
The stress of a poor economy and a liberal administration led by a black president are among the causes for the recent rise, the report from the Southern Poverty Law Center says. Conspiracy theories about a secret Mexican plan to reclaim the Southwest are also growing amid the public debate about illegal immigration.
Bart McEntire, a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, told SPLC researchers that this is the most growth he's seen in more than a decade.
"All it's lacking is a spark," McEntire said in the report.

He also blasted Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio for fighting crime and reducing the crime rate in Maricopa County. Morris Dees of SPLC has done very, very well for himself financially because of his “handling” of SPLC affairs. Very well indeed. Not bad for a head of a “non-profit” scam.

The SLPC is a leftist organization that sees white racism behind every protest against the socialist agenda of the democrats. If you are a white gun owning Christian who wants smaller and less intrusive government you are a member of a secret Klan according to the SLPC.

We fought the Southern Poverty Law Center for years in our local school district. The schools were utilizing SPLC’s Teaching Tolerance series. All it taught was that capitalism is bad, socialism-communism is good, and whitey is the cause of all of the world’s problems. We only succeeded in removing the program from the schools when it was discovered that one of the facilitators had an arrest record. They had a huge push after 911 teaching the kids that America is intolerant and basically deserved the events of that day. The material handed out in the classrooms had a picture of a young (white) child in a KKK get up and went on about oppression of Muslims in the USA. In other words the SPLC is still spreading its lies.
As long as they focus on socialists, I’m warm and fuzzy with it.

I remember a few years ago when SPLC bowed to pressure and added the Nation of Islam to their list of hate groups. The addition of the NOI came with a long, rambling disclaimer on how all “minority” groups that had a “hateful” message were “forced” to do so in response to white racism and that it really wasn’t their fault.
Soooo interesting that this report should be issued now that the pressure is being ratcheted up on Congress, greater than ever before, by so many millions of average Americans who have NEVER demonstrated or protested about ANYTHING.

I’ve never given much thought to the militias, but with the way the dems are trying to turn this country upside down...it gives me a comforting feeling that they are out there.
