Most children will be forced to wait for swine flu vaccine H1N1 swine flu virus culture

Pregnant women, children with chronic health conditions and others with weakened immune systems will be the first people to receive a swine flu vaccine as part of the national immunisation campaign this winter.
Frontline NHS and social care workers, pensioners and household contacts of people with HIV or undergoing chemotherapy treatment will also be offered the vaccine from October, the Department of Health has announced, although previously healthy children and adults may have to wait until next year.
Sir Liam Donaldson, the Chief Medical Officer for England, announced the priority groups - covering about 11 million people - as the number of deaths linked to the H1N1 virus rose to 49 people in England and Scotland. But he added that overall numbers of people reporting flu-like illness had decreased for the second week in a row.
There were an estimated 25,000 new cases in England in the week to Sunday, compared to 30,000 cases in the previous seven days, the Health Protection Agency said. The number of people in hospital with the virus - 371 as of yesterday morning - has also decreased compared to previous weeks.

It dosen’t work in babies or kids with asthma or the elderly. The current swine flu is rarely fatal but the vaccine for it definitly can be. Even ordinary flu shots contain things that can be harmful such as..Egg proteins: including avian contaminant viruses
