Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee is interviewed by Greta Van Susteren and apparently has the same problem she had a few days ago when she exhibited what Greta called "profoundly rude" behavior, answering a cell phone while a constituent asks her a question.
"Here's the problem... Let me explain something to you... One of the problems is you're not listening, and that was sort of the criticism that you weren't listening, you're on the phone..."
In the end, the Congresswoman says, "I can certainly understand if offense was taken," and if she met the constituent she ignored, Tracy Miller, she would say, "Sorry, Tracy, we can work through this... Any offense taken, I did not intend it."

I saw it, Sheila Jackson-Lee wouldn’t shut up long enough to answer any questions, kept on talking over Greta in typical liberal fashion.
Notice how Sheila Jackson-Lee kept on talking about how public option is so great and how she will try to convince “tracy” that it is a great plan. So she is basically admitting that she wants a single payer option. What a dumb bird. She went on National TV and admitted it

I’m of the impression that she really isn’t capable of representing anyone...not Democrats...not residents of her district...not even the special interest groups who pay her off.
Find some middle-of-the-road conservative guy in her district and run him against her. The key campaign “click”? An absolute vow that he won’t carry a cellphone in a public forum...ever.
I agree with you. But her constituents are also some of the stupidest people in the country, and they don't care that she's an idiot. Just like the people who re-elected Marion Barry after "that @#$%^" set him up.

Clearly SJL is not at all interested in hearing what her constituents want. SJL wants to tell them what is best for them. She wants to convince them that she knows best. Her attitude is that any time spent listening to her constituents is time wasted from her telling them what she wants them to know.
Motor-mouth Sheila Jackson Lee' s intellectually facile explanation of her rude unconscionable behavior at a townhall---answering a cell phone while a cancer survivor was speaking----raises several questions. How did this rude, obnoxious woman ever get elected? Voter fraud comes to mind.
To add insult to injury she (1) first lied about her actions, (2) claimed the tape was "doctored," then, (3) told news organs she was talking to a healthcare hotline. I urge the Houston Chronicle to subpoena Lee's cell phne records to determine who exactly she was fielding phone calls from.
Lee obviously believes herself to be "The Anointed One." Lee clearly owns an imperious sense of entitlement, and expects Americans to kneel in obeisance at her feet. She had better disabuse herself of the notion that she, and she alone, gets to decide what happens to Americans' healthcare. Aint gonna happen.
Finally, I don't know where this woman came from, but Texas voters are going to send her back there ASAP.
Even morons need representation in the House, and Ms. Lee does an outstanding job. :-)

She at least apologized, without using the normal ‘you misunderstood me’ line.
Someone all America should take pride in; another minority politico who was given a position by another re-districting exercise.
