Angry confrontations at health care forums nationwide have prompted U.S. Rep. Ron Kind to establish some conduct rules for his upcoming town hall meetings.
Weve seen whats happening in other parts of the country some of these (town hall meetings) have turned out unruly, said Kind spokesman Erik Olson. Obviously, we are concerned. The meeting rules include:
Everyone will respect each other no disruptions and no talking over others.
Everyone will fill out an informational sheet before entering the facility.
Those wishing to speak will receive a number that will be drawn at random for order of speakers.
Kinds four upcoming meetings in western Wisconsin and a telephone conference are intended to give citizens the opportunity to voice their concerns on health care reform efforts, according to the release.
Kind, a Democrat from La Crosse, moved his meetings to larger venues after receiving numerous phone calls from people on both sides of the health care reform debate indicating they plan to attend, said Olson.
This is the hot topic of the day, he said.

You can't have a voter I.D. but they want your identity for a town hall meeting? Pure intimidation of his constituents.
I hope anyone that goes to the town hall meeting ignores his rules and will express your opinion - he works for us, not Nancy Pelosi!
Make something up. It would be pretty funny if everyone identified themselves as BH Obama, or perhaps Larry, Moe or Curly.
In a word, when it comes to my healtch care and that of my family, and this marxist monstrosity they are trying to fois on us...NO.

Rule for Rep Kind. Shut up and go home.
Put down the street address of the local baseball stadium. It worked for the Blues Brothers. Or maybe the address of the head of the local Democratic Party. If the guy’s house gets vandalized you will know why.
Dear Mr Jackoff Kind:
You work for the people. We don’t work for you. Therefore, you will not be playing God and dictating your rules upon us, your employer. We will set the agenda and will exercise our God-given rights of free speech and dissent. If you don’t like it that’s just too bad. We will not be bullied around by an arrogant elitist like yourself.
Sincerely,
United States Citizens
I’d fill it in:
Name: Vote for Voter Photo ID
Two word response.
Begins with F. Ends with U.
Elaboration on the subject includes the horse you rode in on.
The boss makes the rules. Congress people are the employees. The voters are the boss.
It is high time we reminded them of that.

I would urge Rep. Kind to start checking the want ads in the private sector.
Folks.....we are in unknown wtaers!!

Rasmussen Reports poll shows Toomey (Arlen opponent) ahead by 12 points

Sen. Arlen Specter might have greater worries than receiving rancorous receptions at town hall meetings. A Rasmussen Reports poll released Thursday shows the Democrat trailing Republican Pat Toomey by 12 points in next year's Senate race. The survey indicates that a majority of Pennsylvania voters view Specter unfavorably.
"I was staggered by the low base of support that Sen. Specter received," said Scott Rasmussen, president of the New Jersey-based independent polling firm. "It did not surprise me that his numbers were down, but I was blown away by the extent of the drop."
The poll, an automated telephone survey of 1,000 likely Pennsylvania voters taken Tuesday, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. (Excerpt) Read more at pittsburghlive.com ...
Someone please get a copy of the “informational sheet” and post it to FR, Thanks.
This a $$ clown needs some real education on his position and duties as a Congressman.
Where is Obama’s information sheet?

Someone who lives in this district should set up their own town hall session and ***summons*** this employee to the meeting. Given the only press in this country is state run, it wouldn’t have the same impact as if we really had a free press, though.
