Representative Eric Massa (D- NY) addressed an intimate group of Net Roots activists during their annual Net Roots Nation gathering in Pittsburgh this weekend. Mr. Massa reiterated his support for a single payer health care bill. He discussed the risks he takes for wanting to support such a measure in his "right wing Republican district."
According to Swing State Project, Mr. Massa won his 2008 race by two percentage points. The voting pattern index (PVI) is a Republican +5 seat. The National Republican Congressional Committee has the upstate New York congressman in their sights for 2010 along with 69 other House Democrats as reported by Politico. This guy is my rep, and I am completely disgusted. I’ve written letter after letter, and went to his town hall metting and he still does not listen. He is far worse than the RINO who voted for TARP that he replaced.

What bothers me most about this is the sureness he has about voting against the constituents.

And to make matters worse, the other end of the district (Chautauqua County) was cut out and combined with liberal Buffalo. Guess whose voters win that race?

Absolutely. This is, as he says in this video, the most conservative district in at least the state (he says contry, but I think he exaggerates). Our RINO got the boot for not listening and I can’t imagine this guy doing the same thing and not sharing the same fate.
He’s the congressman from my district, but obviuosly not my representative. he’s a typical libhole.
What Pelosi has planned? You think all that “unspent” stimulus money will suddenly appear in all Dem districts at risk in 2010? I do.
Sweet makes them easy to target and identify for future elections.

I’m in Rochesters’s southernmost suburb (NE Ontario County) It is NOT liberal. This ahole won by 1.6%, mainly by riding Obie’s coattails....
