Crowley Gets Ovation at Police Convention

LONG BEACH, Calif. (Aug. 17) -- Cambridge police Sgt. James Crowley received a standing ovation from thousands of police officers Monday as he opened a five-day Fraternal Order of Police convention with brief remarks. Crowley, who is white, sparked a national debate on race relations and policing when he arrested Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. for disorderly conduct at Gates' home in Cambridge, Mass. Gates is black.

I sure hope he is willing to hit the campaign trail to get loser dems thrown out in 2010. He just may have an effect on some union votes.

I don't see relaxation in BO's shoulders at all. I see tension. Look at his arms on the armrests. He looks like he's faking the laid-back look and is getting ready to fly up out of his chair at a slight provocation.
Gates looks too tense, he's all hunched over.
Biden looks somewhat normal. Crowley is OK.
