Rights to Terrorists Captured in Afghanistan.

Dear AMERICA,

Every victory we win in the struggle against radical Islam brings us one step closer to our ultimate goal of protecting America’s security and freedoms from this evil threat.

On June 11^th we emailed you the Weekly Standard article that reported the following disturbing news:

“…the Obama Justice Department has quietly ordered FBI agents to read Miranda rights to high value detainees captured and held at U.S. detention facilities in Afghanistan, according a senior Republican on the House Intelligence Committee.”

News reports like this one, along with our email alert to over 60,000 ACT! for America members, raised the profile of this issue significantly. We wrote some Members of Congress about it, and we got the attention of some of them.

Less than four weeks after we sent you this email report, during a Senate Committee on Armed Services hearing, Senator Jeff Sessions introduced Senate Amendment #1661. According to a response letter we received on August 4th from another Senator, Amendment 1661 “would prevent Miranda rights from being provided to suspected Al Qaeda terrorists who are detained by members of the U.S. military or intelligence community.”

The amendment was approved by voice vote and included in the overall Defense Authorization bill, which then passed the Senate 87 to 7. We are optimistic this amendment will be retained in the final House-Senate version of the bill, and then become law.

Most people aren’t aware of this significant congressional action. It wasn’t on the front page of newspapers around the country. But who knows how many acts of terror will be thwarted in the future due to intelligence obtained from captured terrorists who are not read Miranda rights?

• Most Americans do not know they are protected from lawsuits being filed against them when they report suspicious activity.
• Most Americans don’t know authors in New York writing about terrorism and radical Islam are protected from intimidation lawsuits filed against them in other countries.
• And, should this latest Senate action become law, most Americans won’t know that future terrorist acts will be thwarted thanks to intelligence gathering that is not shackled by the absurdity of reading Miranda rights to captured enemy combatants.

Well, “Silence” was always one of the “5 S’s” of prisoner handling, but it was for the captor’s advantage, not the POW’s!

Search-disarm POW and take and tag anything of intel value,

Silence-keep them silent so they can’t coordinate actions, stories,

Speed-move prisoners rapidly to the rear,

Safe guard-protect prisoners from harm,

Segregate-separate officers and enlisted, senior NCOs from rank and file.

This makes me wonder how many FBI agents were currently interfering with ops in Afghanistan, and what level of military command was required to report to the FBI?

Would a squad in a middle of a firefight have to hand over a combatant to a suit before they ask him how many Taliban/AQ are holed up in a building, location of booby traps, munitions, hostages, civilians....?

The amendment prohibiting the Mirandizing of terrorists captured abroad was passed by a voice vote, meaning that no one called for a recorded vote, so we don’t know if anyone was actually opposed. The entire Defense Authorization bill, which included the amendment and a gazillion other things, then passed by 87 to 7. The 7 that voted against the bill very likely voted against it for other reasons (such as the budgeted amount in the Defense Authorization being too small, or too large, or a particular weapons system being included or excluded).

This is just another example of how Obama sees himself as KOTUS.

He feels every government entity belongs to him exclusively, and he will manipulate them as he sees fit to satisfy his agendas & whims.

Sending the FBI to defend the rights of Al Qaeda & Taliban.... nobody could think of something so childishly devious other than Obama.

The American people...distorting history and Who and what we are...We have made many mistakes....but what would the world look like today without the USA...for the past 230+ year?

God put the USA on the map for one main purpose...the support & Protection of Israel...USA stops supporting Israel...down the drain we go.

I will bless the nations that protect and honor Israel...And “curse” the nations that come against her.

Ask your self(s)...why is the USA here in the first Place? So we can have a good way of life and do our daily whatever?

Those are just by products of being 100% behind Israel all these years...Its called being “Blessed”!

And no one can argue that the in the very short History of America...that we are Indeed the most “blessed Nation On Earth”

Its for the protection and support of Israel....Period! And this is by design...not just some “thing” that just has stated to happen.

And now...for the first time in history, we have a president...that is coming close to not really support Israel.

And I have know for at least 3-5 years (do not ask me...I really do not know) Thant the current PM “Benjamin Netanyahu” would be re-elect as PM of Isreal...at just the right time....and believe me...THIS IS THE RIGHT TIME. He knows whats up...and is way smarter than obama....and has much bigger &^%’s...that is for sure.
