What an (**wipe.
Does this mean he will vote to end Affirmative Action?
Start a recall on this schmuck NOW! Notify him that he’s TOAST.
Fine. You roll the die, you take your chances.
Representatives are supposed to be voting in the interests of their districts at all times. That is what is truly helpful.
Please don’t call him “Rep.” because he is admittedly NOT!
This pantload Massa doesn’t seem to understand that his job description is “Representative”.
Messa's district extents from the Rochester suburbs in the north to the sparsely populated Southern Tier, from Elmira on west.
Why this guy wishes to control the lives of his constituents even against their will, I'll never understand.
From Massa’s Congressional website: “As your member of Congress, my #1 priority is serving you.”
WOW! What an evil thing it is!
Let the lemmings follow obama over the cliff. They can ALL end their careers together. We the People can ensure it.
When representative democracy goes tin can over asshat. Next time on Oprah.
Wesley Clark's lefthand man.
if the Republican chalanger doesn’t use that soundbite in a commercial they will miss the best advertisment they could ever create!
Man, could he sit any closer to him without clark being in his lap?
First Place "Some thoughts on those angry voters. Ask parents of any two-year-old and they can tell you about those temper tantrums: the stomping feet, the rolling eyes, the screaming. It's clear that the anger controls the child and not the other way around. It's the job of the parent to teach the child to control the anger and channel it in a positive way. Imagine a nation full of uncontrolled two-year-old rage. The voters had a temper tantrum last week....Parenting and governing don't have to be dirty words: the nation can't be run by an angry two-year-old."
- ABC World News Tonight anchor Peter Jennings in his daily ABC Radio commentary, November 14,1994.

voters, can you spell RECALL?
He must really think he is smarter than all of his constituents. Politicians need to remember who they work for and this guy needs to be voted out and pronto.
He wants to control his constituents’ lives and his name is Massa? You can’t make this stuff up!
The sad thing here is that he really believes it will help the people. It is obvious that he has never taken an economics course at any time in his life.
NAVAL ACADEMY GRADUATE I served under some great Officers in the Navy....thankfully not under the POS!
Born in Charleston, S.C., the son of a career naval officer, Massa grew up in various locations, including Argentina and New Orleans. Massa graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis in 1981 and went on to serve in the Navy for 24 years. He qualified as a Surface Warfare Officer on the USS New Jersey (BB-62), and eventually served as aide to former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, General Wesley Clark. Near the end of his Navy career he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, from which he later recovered. A former Republican, he left his party over the issue of the Iraq War and campaigned in New Hampshire during the campaign of his former boss, Wesley Clark’s failed presidential bid.
He even looks evil!
ahhhh! Big Flats might be doable....

He might change his mind after he's been through a rowdy town hall meeting where his constituents are yelling at him. LOL!
Massa’s In The Cold Cold Ground Curta Pajama
He’ll meet his end in 2010 (Politically)
No, this video was shot at a leftwing Netroots meeting in Pittsburgh PA. Also note that he is talking to these Netroots leftwing nuts and he his calling his constituents behind their backs, "rightwingers".
This seems to go along with what you’ve been saying about the Dems willing to get this through at any cost...
Texas reps aren't that dumb. Natural selection and environmental pressures, and all of that. Wouldn't be healthy, and they couldn't breed on account of lack of ability.
I would guess that this well connected, carpetbagging Massa guy, who probably doesn't even like living in his Appalachian district, probably has a job already lined up in the Obama administration.
An even better reason for keeping the ole resume fresh.
That job posting may not last long after the American people finish reforming their government.
And face it, it's time to reform the government. Mulligan, do-over, whatever you call it. Bring it down and build something that fits.
We are/did reserve the right to choose our government, not just which branch/party gets to screw us.
Huh? So, HE knows what’s best for the people of his district? I think the “I will vote against the interests of my district” tells it all. That is the money line and a huge gift to his opponent in the next election.
Mass’a attitude is a perfect snapshot of the arrogance of the elite ruling political class.
Spoken like a true ex-representative
New slogan for his website:
“Thanks for voting for me so I can do the things I want to do without listening to you”
This guy has courage! He’s the only one being honest and saying he won’t represent his constituents... all the other ‘rats say they are representing their districts that are generally ‘NO’ on Health Care[less] Reform, while voting ‘YES’ for it.
I wonder if he’ll walk to his local office some day to discover a large load of fertilizer in front of the door?
It is an established principle that elected officials have a responsibility to do what they think is ethically and morally right—and what is right for America. For the most part that has coincided with constituents desires.
If the people in this man’s district overwhelmingly felt that gays and lesbians should not only be ostracized but also be removed from society, do you think he should vote for that?
If the people overwhelmingly in this man’s district wanted to return to enslaving people, do you think he should vote for that?
If the people overwhelmingly in this man’s district wanted all women to wear burkas, do you think he should vote for that?
If this man is willing to fall on his sword to push universal government health insurance then so be it. Personally, I think he’s counting on—when push comes to shove—the voters reelecting him rather than voting for a non-demrat candidate.
Your examples are hyperbole, and don;t even fit your criteroa of being ethically and morally right.
Does the government have an unconstitutional right to determine YOUR level of medical care and your ACCESS to medical resources?
That’s the question. It is neither moral nor ethical for the government to do either.
So for Mr. Massa to say he is voting against his constitutents in this matter is both immoral and unethical.
