We used to see the Monarchs in Pacific Grove, California.
Tubebender. Let me revise, extend and correct my remarks. :) We will be going Downriver from GP. Savage Rapids Dam is upriver at Josephine. I assumed our trip was “Up”, (even though I’ve been on it before) because of incline of the coast range it runs thru and over to get to the coast. There is another dam up above Shady Cove, N of Medford, E of GP. We pass by it on the way to Medford from Bend.

Now all I have to do is figure out if the drivers go clock-wise or counter-clock-wise.
Drivers are picked and it’ll be another paws over the eyes time for qualifying/racing.

We will be planning the Assault on Charlotte for May 2010. A full 12 days at “Lowes” to view the All Star Race AND...the 600!!

Hey folks! I’ve moved and don’t have internet now. Online at a relative’s home tonight - cause I’m in South Carolina and headed over to Bristol for both the Nationwide and Cup races this weekend! Ya’ll enjoy the race now ya hear? I’ll be the woman they catch drooling all over Junior sometime in the next coupla days. ;-)

Thanks ya’ll. I’m really really looking forward to this. We go up first thing in the morning. T’storms in the forecast for the Nationwide race time but I don’t care, we’re here to stick it out till they run all the race. Forecast looks a bit more hopeful for the Cup race. I’m still pinching myself that after all these years I’m getting to see not just the big race - but both races at BMS.
Will post pictures if we ever manage to get internet access at our new remote home.
