In a study sure to ruffle the feathers of the Global Warming cabal, Professor Richard Lindzen of MIT has published a paper which proves that IPCC models are overstating by 6 times, the relevance of CO2 in Earth’s Atmosphere. Dr. Lindzen has found that heat is radiated out in to space at a far higher rate than any modeling system to date can account for.
Editorial: The science is in. the scare is out. Recent papers and data give a complete picture of why the UN is wrong.
The pdf file located at the link above from the Science and Public Policy Institute has absolutely, convincingly, and irrefutably proven the theory of Anthropogenic Global Warming to be completely false.
Professor Richard Lindzen of MIT’s peer reviewed work states “we now know that the effect of CO2 on temperature is small, we know why it is small, and we know that it is having very little effect on the climate.”
"The global surface temperature record, which we update and publish every month, has shown no statistically-significant “global warming” for almost 15 years. Statistically-significant global cooling has now persisted for very nearly eight years. Even a strong el Nino – expected in the coming months – will be unlikely to reverse the cooling trend.
More significantly, the ARGO bathythermographs deployed throughout the world’s oceans since 2003 show that the top 400 fathoms of the oceans, where it is agreed between all parties that at least 80% of all heat caused by man made “global warming” must accumulate, have been cooling over the past six years. That now prolonged ocean cooling is fatal to the “official” theory that “global warming” will happen on anything other than a minute scale." - SPPI

Thats what I've always said.
Try working up in the arctic and see how fast the heat of day vanishes as soon as the sun does. The ONLY thing that can trap a little heat is water vapor, clouds. Otherwise a clear arctic sky means a darned cold night. It's the one place on earth where it seems you can feel directly the coldness of space.

Global warming is the next internet bubble, the next sub-prime mortgage scheme. It is pseudo science being used by the likes of Goldman Sachs to ‘sell’ the public ‘carbon credits’ and thus enrich themselves in the process.
One should ask why Al Gore waited until he was not Vice President to become a crusader for global warming? Why was he not pounding his fist that the uSA pass the Kyoto Treaty when Bill C was POTUS?
Enron was meeting with Clinton i nthe White House to pass Kyoto. The Enron boys had the carbon credit scam down way before Wall St and Goldman Suchs figured out that you could con people into buying air which cost nothing and results in 100% profit. People should ask if Enron was taken down by the powers that be just because they stood in Wall Sts way on the carbon credit scheme.
The damage Enron caused our economy through their energy games is like a shoplifter at the local 7/11 compared to what Wall St did with the mortgage mess. Yet, the Enron boys are dead or in jail, and the Wall St boys have been bailed out and Goldman Will give BILLIONS in bonus payments this year.
Lindzen has exposed the corrupt Wall St boys and the fallacy of their UN socialist AGW baloney. Will the public listen and punish Goldman and the boys? I doubt it since when they leave Goldman they become Gov’s (Corzine), or work for Obama (Summers, et al)
Yep, thats what I have always observed as well. Clear cloudless nights are usually colder, unless local weather has specific conditions which keep it warm, Air inversions for example. Weather is not Climate however, and that is something the Warmers just get their little beans wrapped around.
The water vapor clouds keep things warm at the surface, and at high elevations they are part of the mechanism of Infra Red heat being released into space. Al Gore is... dead wrong, this proves it.

I feel sorry for the European Nations that bought into this crap of Cap n Tax, they just slaughtered their own Economies for literally nothing.
Miklós Zágoni, ex-NASA, was involved in this paper. While at NASA he found and corrected a basic error with the CO2 heat absorption equations. Basic calculus. NASA refused to release his work and he resigned in protest.
I remember when this hit the blogs and Drudge and was amazed at the hypocrisy of NASA giving politicized scientists like Hansen a platform to complain about being muzzled by Pres. Bush and then spiking this in house.

Dianna made a goof. This should say the rate of temperature change is 1.5 degrees C per century. The temp on the graph clearly did not rise 1.5 degrees C in 29 years.

I agree, thats why it’s imperative that we get this news out to the world! Knowledge is power, and facts are really hard to argue with. It takes only a little education of the public to make it clear as a bell that Global warming is not only a lie, the climate is cooling, but also that CO2 has nothing to do with climate at all.

I heard a great illustration, one I use for global warming debates with people who think they are so smart and nuanced.
Take an Olympic sized swimming pool, one that Phelps won all those medals in, take the temperature of the water. Now pretend that is the whole atmosphere. Take a common ordinary eyedropper, take about 10 of them. Fill them with boiling water. Now squirt all ten in the pool, wait about 10 seconds and take the temperature of the pool, do you think the temp went up? Well those 10 eyedroppers are ALL the Co2 us humans generate through respiration, automobiles, industry, burning leaves,etc. Do you think taking away those 10 eyedroppers of water away will lower the temp of the pool water? See how dumb your argument is. Always gets them irrational or elicits a smile and the light bulb goes on. Those ratios are exactly what we are talking about. Hyperbole and deception falls flat in the face of real science.
