After all, McCarthyism represents the stalwart, near 100% accurate identification of Communists, and Communist agents who had infiltrated into some of the highest positions of American Government.

There ought to be a McCarthy Badge of Honor awarded annually for courageous and selfless patriotic service to the country.

Wow, the moonbats are really upset now; they’re attempting to compare Our Sarah to Joe McCarthy. They get more pathetic every day!

The funny thing is, none of their epithets stick. The more the moonbats shriek and howl about Our Sarah, the more American patriots come to her side.

I guess the only thing she hasn’t been compared to yet are space aliens...and we can expect that from the moonbats any day now, I’m sure.

When you think about it, though, as an earlier post mentioned, it’s amazing what one private citizen with a facebook account can accomplish.

Speaking of space aliens, it reminds me of a line from a classic “Star Trek” episode; Kirk says to the parallel-universe Mr. Spock: “In every revolution there’s one man with a vision”. Our Sarah may just well be our “woman with a vision”!

WHERE WAS THE BARF ALERT?

. In McCarthy's day, it was anti-communism coupled with national security, and it hardly mattered that he frequently did not have his facts straight. He got huge amounts of attention anyway.

What is CALLED McCarthyism predates Senator McCarthy. The Crucible was written PRIOR to McCarthy's rise. Arthur Miller himself has noted this.

And in The Crucible, there WERE witches. The real point comes with determining if people should be permitted to follow this other path and if someone on the stand being compelled to name names can be trusted to not lie about other people ALSO being guilty. To me, THAT is the paranoia. Which Reds were falsely charged? I'm not saying "spies", I'm saying who wasn't a Communist that was labelled one in the hearings?

We let our guard down after the media's feeding frenzy on Joe McCarthy and today Socialism is over running the American dream.

Why was it called Borking and not Kennedyism after Ted Kennedy? Why was Joe Biden permitted to lie about Clarence Thomas (he asserted that Thomas had come out for an activist role for the court, and Biden chaired the hearing).

No, I WILL NOT let the Pravda Media call something "Palinism". Damned Stalinists.

With Palin, the subject is health care, which in many ways is the Red Menace of our day and lends itself to a kind of political pornography. For sheer disregard of the facts, her statement about President Obama's "death panel" has to rank with McCarthy's announcement that "I have here in my hand a list of 205" (or 57 or 72 or whatever) names of communists in the State Department. They were both false -- McCarthy's by commission, Palin's probably by omission. She rarely knows her facts.

Then why did they promise to take it out?
