IF... he was born in Hawaii and is still hiding the certificate, I'd think the most likely reason is that it undermines his story in Dreams of my Father, which is what vaulted him into Chicago politics in the first place.

If the book was a lie (and maybe not even written by him), then what else about him is a lie?

However, IF... he was born in Hawaii, then why is he also hiding his college records? Could it be that he was an American but still scammed the government by going to school as a foreign student by registering under a dual citizenship?

That might just be it. That would be enough to throw him behind bars.

Still, with dual citizenship through papa, he's not eligible.

I keep going back to the stories told (yet seemingly NOT remembered) by the author Obama in his multiple autobiographies.

If his father is not Barrack Obama, Sr., well there is the whole basis of ‘Dreams of My (sortof) Father.’ If the basis of the book is fabricated...then what in the book (his life story) is actually true? What if there is no father’s name give (the big embarrassment issue) and that he was named Barry Dunham...and he ‘created’ the Barrack Obama story for the rouse (and benefit of a Harvard legacy—remember, BO, Sr., went there) and ‘authenticity’ of a much better ‘story’ to market himself with during his college years/community organizing years.

I still am amazed that he couldn’t remember where he met Michelle at...and that the media, of course, covered for him (oh...he was tired!!!). But it was a whopper; easily documented in his own book!!!
