Real Unclear Politics has been including polls in their averages that have been using two week old data. When they could not even convince themselves that their average was believable Zero's approval number took a 2% drop
just today. Pollster.com has had the approval gap as low as 6% throughout the period that Unreal Clearly Political was trying to convince their readers it was 13+%. Rasmussen had the approval rating below Zero during the last week.

Because people are slow to conclude they were duped by a slick talking con man, it implies they are gullible and stupid. BUT, when they do turn ... it will be nasty. Those they feel duped who voted for him will become his harshest critics and will never come back.

I agree with you, but therefore I’m encouraged: Rasmussen now appears, as I have suspected, to be a “leading” polling organization, meaning they seem to pick up trends earlier. Ras has had O at 50 or below for some time, and as low as 47. So what is happening is that the other pollsters are just now showing what Ras has had for some time.

Rasmussen polls likely voters. Other polls measure all adults, meaning they assume the youths that voted for Obama will come out for the Dems in 2010.
I think likely voters, at this time, are the ones paying attention to what’s going on.
