The co-ops would be regulated by a federal-governing board set up by the feds who would determine what benefits must be included in a health insurance plan, what premiums would cost, and setting of rules.
Premiums? What's she talking about, premiums? I thought this ObamaCare was gonna be FREE.

Co-Ops - sounds like a food bank. Those people will go to any lengths to enslave our American heath care, despite the facts that similar systmes are costly failures EVERYWHERE.

good post. so, the "public option" -- which is a euphemism for government run medicine, is -- if you twist our arms -- going to be struck, and because we're so concerned about you, we'll mandate these co-ops instead. These co-ops will be government funded and will compete with private insurers directly. We expect they will put 80% of the private providers out of business in a couple of years; the remainder, the biggies, we'll simply nationalize.
Aren't we a good government? And aren't you a useful idiot?
