He's trying to change election rules—again.

Senator Ted Kennedy, who is gravely ill with brain cancer, has sent a letter to Massachusetts lawmakers requesting a change in the state law that determines how his Senate seat would be filled if it became vacant before his eighth full term ends in 2012. Current law mandates that a special election be held at least 145 days after the seat becomes available. Mr. Kennedy is concerned that such a delay could leave his fellow Democrats in the Senate one vote short of a filibuster-proof majority for months while a special election takes place.

Absolutely they did. But not ONLY that, these tactics are exactly how he got into the Senate in the first place. When he originally wanted to be appointed, he was not yet old enough, so a seat filler was appointed until he was old enough! How convenient for these overlords, to be able to manipulate the laws to suit their own power lust.

Kennedy is a coward who has spent a lifetime living off the achievements of his famous brothers. It would be fitting if the last thing this SOB hears is that National healthcare has (yet again) gone done in flames. As far as I’m concerned, this guy has done incalculable damage to his country. I hope Mary Jo is there to give him what for wherever he ends up.
