H1N1 - WHO warns time running out, cases could double every few days (people jumping out of windows)

Posted on 08/21/2009 12:29:52 PM PDT by Scythian

Okay, here we go folks. School has started in my state, there are already H1N1 cases involving teachers and students. They are talking about vaccinating everyone in the entire county, and it didn't sound voluntary. This is crap, something is not right about this. No other nation was destroyed but for some reason "America is in for it" ... Why is that?

WHO warns time running out for governments to prepare for dramatic spread of virus, predicting number of cases could double every few days

It'll be a cold day in cowboy hell before I ever, EVER take a government-developed vaccine! I took their swine flu shot back in 1976 era and it messed me up for years - I never did feel right afterwards....

My advice is to pass it by.

Are they wanting to vaccinate all school children? I have 3 boys: 10,9 and 6 and they have never received a flu shot. If they make us do this I will take them out of school and home school. Ive always wanted to do so maybe this is my chance.

I’m taking N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) 600 mg plus 2,000mg of Vitamin C, stay up on probiotics for healthy gut flora and I’ll be fine. There are real medical studies showing that it’s darn near impossible for somebody taking NAC to develop the flu ...

We had H1N1 in June and so did a good part of the town. It was not that bad.

In fact for me it was the easiest flu I ever shrugged off.

I don’t think there will be forced immunizations. Except for healthcare workers - your job or your arm, thank you.

The only people who are so far being told they must be vaccinated are HCW workers in, IIRC, NY state. And I read a nurse elsewhere who was just informed that workers in her hospital must be vaccinated.

There is only going to be at the most 195 millions doses of swine flu vaccine availalbe, some not until probably January, and that is if all goes “well”.

I don’t see any mandatory vax program unless Sinovac gets in the act - the Chinese vax company. If they force that on people, there better be a rebellion instantly. Can you imagine a CHINESE vaccine???

It's interesting the WHO is sounding such a dire alarm considering the head of WHO, Margaret Chan, stated the following at a conference in Cancun last month.

"The WHO says most H1N1 cases are mild, with many people recovering unaided". "She stressed that the overwhelming majority of patients experienced mild symptoms and made a full recovery within a week, often in the absence of any form of medical treatment."

It’s only fatal in the people it kills. Otherwise, you’re right.

The NYC Mortuary Association had a meeting the other day and the CDC told them to prepare for a 2.1 to 3.5 CFR - case fatality rate. They’re gearing up for tens of thousands of extra deaths.

Funny the public isn’t being told. It might stop them from maxing out their credit cards on junk.

Supplementing with N-acetylcysteine (NAC) can dramatically reduce the frequency and severity of flu-like symptoms in elderly high-risk individuals, according to a study by Italian researchers.

Two hundred and sixty-two men and women were asked to take 600 mg of NAC or a placebo twice daily for six months covering the peak wintertime flu season. NAC is a well-absorbed and safe form of the amino acid cysteine.

Each of the subjects was given a diary and asked to make note of such symptoms as fever, muscular weakness, loss of appetite, headache, aches and pains, nasal discharge, sore throat, and cough. Researchers defined "influenza-like episodes" as when two or more of the symptoms occurred at the same time.

"The overall frequency of patients suffering from influenza-like episodes...was significantly lower in NAC-treated subjects than in placebo-treated subjects," wrote S. De Flora, MD, of the Universiy of Genoa in the European Respiratory Journal. Of those subjects with laboratory-confirmed flu antibodies, only 25 percent of the NAC group developed symptoms, compared with 79 percent of the placebo group.

Similarly, of the "flu-like" cases among people taking NAC, 72 percent were mild, 26 percent were moderate, and 2 percent were severe. In the placebo group, 48 percent of the infections were mild, 47 percent were moderate, and 6 percent were severe.

"An additional criterion for evaluating the severity of influenza-like episodes was the length of time in bed which, irrespective of the age of patients, was remarkably shorter in NAC-treated subjects," De Flora wrote. "In fact, in the 10 subjects suffering from influenza-like episodes who were not bedridden, nine were under NAC treatment."

NAC also increased the activity of the immune system, encouraging a more vigorous response to infection, according to De Flora.

Reference: De Flora S, Grassi C, Carati L, "Attenuation of influenza-like symptomology and improvement of cell-mediated immunity with long-term N-acetylcysteine treatment," European Respiratory Journal, 1997;10:1535-1541.

Gotta look up that NAC stuff. I might do the same. I really don’t have much confidence in our government anymore so who knows what the heck is going to be in their vaccine. Besides, I’m 60 and nearing the age where one is eligible to draw Social Security. I don’t think the government will be too concerned about me getting a shot.

I believe the target groups— wait, let me rephrase that. I believe the “priority” groups for this vaccine are pregnant women, school children, healthcare workers and possibly elderly.

That would be with a 30 to 40% AR - Attack rate. All in a relatively short amount of time, per wave.

Anyway, anyone who thinks this is “nothing” better be right, because if you are wrong, you might be very, very sorry.

Oh, and BTW - the death figures for South America are said to be low by 90%. From someone who is in SA and reading all the local news, reports from doctors and mortuaries, and so on. So if they say 1,000 dead in SA (passed that a while ago) multiply by 10 to get a better idea of what’s really happening. You think poor people out in the mountains and villages are being counted? And hospitals are of course told to shut up and not say anything to reporters, and so on.

Anyway, if you think there is no pandemic on the horizon, you better be right, if you have no preparations for it.

Wash your hands often, Lysol and disinfecting wipes are your friends, so is hand sanitizer. Don’t put your hands near your face without washing them first. Tagamet(if you come down with the flu), NAC, Vitamins C & D are supposed to help. Chicken soup (with lots of onions for respiratory problems) really does have health merit if you are sick.

“Can you imagine a CHINESE vaccine???”

Better stop taking ALL vitamins. Almost all of the vitamin C we use comes from Communist China. I don’t even want to know where they get their Bone Meal and Calcium.

*Tin foil hat on for following statement (maybe):

Perhaps the flu virus is in the vaccine, i.e. World de-population, which both WHO and the 0bama administration favor????

Sure. Asked him if the media reports are justified about its potential to wreak havoc - YES.

Chances of a 1918 scale pandemic, my figure 250Million Dead Worldwide, compared to 25 Million in 1918 what possibility of that - 50/50, medical advances contest with ease and rapidity of travel. Didn’t blink at my number of a quarter of a billion dead.

What are their boogeymen? A mutating virus merging with the Bird Flu, catching vaccine formulators flatfooted. Short time line to test current vaccine before large scale implementation of vaccination program.

Fatality and transmission rates higher than anticipated, the X, unknown variables.

I needed another drink by this time :>>

You’re right, I’m wrong.

Seasonal flu is “not a pandemic” but affects 340 million to 1 billion each year, killing between 250k and 500k; it has a fatality rate of less than .05%.

The current H1N1 has 262,099 reported cases and 2,551 reported deaths for a fatality rate of .97%. That is about 20 times the upper range for the fatality rate of the seasonal flu. Assuming the upper range for infections of one billion, we’re looking at 10 million deaths. Not as bad as Spanish Flu, but real bad.

What crisis?

You've got to understand - the government needs a crisis so that they can convince people that they have the answer to our problem. The concocted "pandemic" is designed with one purpose in mind - government takeover of health care. It's all about power.

Here's my Poor Mans Protocol. I went from near death to very good health, it balances your PH, corrects your gut flora, just so many good things at such a low cost ... You guys wont need the soap of course, anyway, I hope it helps you. I have learned alot about how the body works.
