A Jones County inventor has filed a lawsuit against two Internet server companies.
John Ishmel Henry of Soso, in May, filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
In his suit, Henry claims that he was called and depicted as a n----r on two of the Internet service provider search engines, AOL and Google.
Henry, the original inventor of the vibrating toilet seat, was featured on the Jay Leno Show in November, 2008.
Needless to say that my invention garnered a lot of attention, he said. I was completely humiliated and horrified to discover that these two great bastions of business prowess would allow (these) web sites ... to thrive on their search engines.
The hypocrisy of this libelous and slanderous tragedy has caused me enormous mental harm, emotional suffering and sleepless nights, he claims in his suit. I am a true American and feel that I have the right to respond to such indignation in the court of law. ... I believe in the freedom of speech, but I believe we all should be treated fair as citizens of America.
Henry said he is concerned as to how these search engines affects him as well as others.

This gives me an idea! Vibrating toilet paper! I thought of it first!
You're a racist!!
What’s the purpose of a vibrating toilet seat... ??
I’m sitting here, trying to envision any sort of benefit, to a vibrating toilet seat, and quite frankly, I’m coming up blank. Is it supposed to save on toilet paper or something, lol?
Every lesbian bar in the country wants to install them on their barstools.
Just strap a two-cycle engine to the legs. Since it’ll have a throttle, that’ll be a twofer.
Give me a vibrating toilet seat - or give me death !
I used to work with a guy who would put his beeper on vibrate, drop it in his skivvies and repeatedly dial himself. He was one of the most “inventive” people I’ve ever met.
OMG.....my wife was sitting at her computer and read that while drinking a cup of coffee. She laughed so quick and hard that she couldn't help but spew a mouthful onto her monitor screen.
To shake loose that little dang piece of crap that won’t drop...
He's saying the search engine's should censor the content of the search result? Look out, here comes the internet pre-search, pre-thought police.
Henry is also working on a book titled Diversity and Racism: The Challenge of Mankind. In this book I talk about the roots of racism and how it affects our country to this day, he said. This book does not blame any particular group. It just addresses the issue and ways to eliminate it.
Oh, a publicity stunt lawsuit.
I think you have got the gist of it. The attorney who filed this should be disbarred.
I bet this is dismissed. He won't even get a token settlement for nuisance value.
Tons of people are slandered on the intenet as nazis, commies, gay, even n____rs. This guy has to have rocks in his head. Plus anyone that invents a toilet seat will be the butt of crude jokes
I think you have got the gist of it. The attorney who filed this should be disbarred....
All this joker has to find is an OJ jury in Mississippi. I say he can.
Should have invented a heated seat instead of a vibrating one.
His phrasing sounds like that of Je$$e Jack$on.
In a just world, he’d get prosecuted and at least fines for filing a frivolous lawsuit. But he probably got the idea from the masters, Sharpton and Jackson.
Those auditions to replace Billy Mays are getting weirder and weirder...
Nothing like that on Google now...
Did this guy produce any proof, or is it just his word against the search engine giants? I looked all over google, and the only place his name shows up is in the context of this case.
If he actually understood freedom of speech he wouldn't need the whole part after the comma.
Well I was going to comment but now I will hold and be careful.
Does anyone know where I can purchase one of those toilet seats? Actually , it’s a pretty good idea.
I'm almost scared to ask, but where, exactly, are you sitting?
Ahh, the wonders of having a home wireless network and a laptop ... you’ll never know.
Nope, that was not Jones County. I think you are thinking of Franklin County.
