Minutes after he learned a jury had sentenced him to death, killer James Broadnax laughed at the mother of one of his murder victims as she told him how he had devastated her life................

Patterson said television interviews Broadnax gave after the crime, in which he boasted about killing the two men and expressed no remorse or sympathy for their families, influenced jurors more than the defendant’s impassive demeanor in the courtroom.

He appeared to have no reaction earlier when he was sentenced to die by lethal injection for the murder of Stephen Swan

Bet that SOB won't be laughing when they pump him full of drugs to stop his dead worthless piece of SH*T heart from beating

Betcha he is one who will whine and use every means possible to keep his worthless dead ass alive

Laughing at the victim’s relatives? I hope his prison guards take that into consideration as he sits on death row.

Ah, I did not see that the slime was getting the death penalty.

Correction: Let's if he is laughing as they wheel the gurney in, strap him down, and shove the IV in.

The more I read of the crimes committed to warrant the death penalty, the more I believe in bringing back the chair. Lethal injuction is just far too humane.

These crimes will end when we make it devastating to commit them. Right now, it is no big deal to them. If they were to suffer for doing them, they might think twice.

Not if it is an abdominal injection of a slowly lethal acid! It should take an hour or so to burn his worthless guts out.

Isn’t the argument v. the death penalty ‘it’s not a deterrent?’ As the penalties for all crimes have become lessened, one has to commit a horrific crime to get the death penalty. And we can all see what a great deterrent that’s been.

But that’s not what they get is it ? Whenever I’ve read the day after news report of lethal injections, it seems the perp is gone in 17 minutes.

Off topic and not to threadjack but if of guilty of the crime, I would much rather take the short drop rather than being strapped in a gurney and take the IV. At least you die on your feet.

In the interview with the reporter the thug said they went out to rob some “rich white” people. It was racially motivated and that is why he has no remorse and nothing but hatred for the white families. This class, black race hate thing liberals preach against whites - day in and day out -is not without consequences for the targets.

I would prefer to abolish the 8th amendment in its entirity. I want the punishment to fit the crime.

I want the criminal killer to feel just as much pain and horror as his/her victim.

Irrelevant, as far as I'm concerned. It eliminates recidivism.

Now here is where I differ with my FR contemporaries re:execution of sentence.
To be clear - I fully support and believe in the effectiveness of the death sentence - Do it.

For such low life dirt as this wretch, however I see no benefit in the dramatic methods suggested here. IMO, it merely furthers the 'street cred' of this pos with others of his disgusting ilk.

So what to do?
Here I am in agreement with the death sentence procedures followed by the PRC/CCP - which have their origins in the methods employed at Lubyanka Prison in Moscow.
At some time after the final sentencing, an unspecified date known only to the prison, the convict is taken from his cell at approximately 03:30 in the morning. Without fanfare or ceremony, he is told to dress. He is then taken to a darkened prison courtyard, his sentencing is read to him, his hands are tied behind his back, he is kicked on the back of legs so as to cause him to fall to his knees. He is then shot in the back of the head. A final two shots are administered and that is it.>br>
Those who would have claim are called in the morning to collect the body. If no one comes for it - it is taken to a unmarked grave and tossed in.

Remove and dispose of the garbage without ceremony.
Don't perpetuate the media feeding frenzy.

It doesn't really matter whether it's a deterrent, to me. It is cancer surgery on a societal scale. Social self-defense.
