President Hannity ? Talker drops hint
WorldNetDaily ^ | August 21, 2009 | WorldNetDaily

WASHINGTON – Talk-show host Sean Hannity, a vocal opponent of Barack Obama's policies, said today he would not rule out a bid for the presidency in 2012.

Egged on by radio colleague Bill Cunningham, Hannity said he would consider entering the front lines of the political fray if God directs him.

"I've never made a decision in my life without – whatever destiny God has you've got to fulfill it," he said. "I'm not sure that's my destiny."

Hannity would make a formidable candidate, with the likability of Reagan, good looks and strong convictions. He's also a polished communicator and knows the issues inside out.

And he can debate.

Hannity hosts the second-largest radio program in America, after Rush Limbaugh, and a highly rated nightly TV show on the Fox News Channel.

(I have no doubt Hannity loves God, his country and his family; but he is doing what he does best — radio and TV.)

I’m wondering if it’s going to get to the point where one can’t be a viable Presidential candidate without having some kind of “celebrity” background, or gimmick, such as being black, or being female.

I haven’t ruled out running either. However, I am usually busy with NASCAR in November so it doesn’t look good.

Good grief. Likability, good looks and strong convictions. By this criteria, every contestant in a beauty pageant would make a "formidable candidate" for president. Check back after Hannity builds Reagans record of leadership and policies developed and articulated over years of experience.

“Why not?”

Hey, I'm with you. Fellow Freepers are labeling him a light weight, which I don't understand. He has the three main qualifications to be a good president: Sean is an honest to God conservative, he can and will defend himself and his principles, and he is not a f’n Washington politician.

Because Hannity shilled for Rudy and will support anyone that has an "R" after his name. I'll never forgive Hannity for his hatchet jobs on Ron Paul.

Eff no. I remember when he was just starting out (getting noticed) in Atlanta. To me, Hannity is the weakest conservative voice out there. He just has greater exposure because you see his face. I listen to Tiffany Granath’s Afternoon Advice on Playboy radio instead of Hannity on Sirius. Neil Boortz used to eat his lunch in Atlanta although now they say they’re friends.

Hannity is getting “Face in the Crowd” scary.

Hannity would spend all his time in the Oval Office telling us what's coming up...

"I'll be talking to Lieberman later this afternoon.... We've got some great quotes from Biden you've gotta hear....I'm going to have my old pal Newt filling me in on a few things..... Oh, and I'll be calling into Levin's show tonight too, so everyone tune in..."

“HANNITY IS A BUSH RHINO SUCK UP!”

Couldn’t disagree more. He took Bush and the GOPers to task hard, especially in 2005 and 2006 over spending, immigration, etc. He’s WAY to the right of Bush.
