Oh, Fat Teddy’s done for, huh? I hadn’t heard, although the pattern of hospitalizations looked suspicious. Too bad, and too bad he ever got elected to the Senate.

Decorum and taste be damned - that gutless, privileged, amoral old POS can't die fast enough for me. The only shame is that he can't take the rest of the Beacon Hill offal with him.

IMO Senator Kennedy is going out like the POS he has always been. I felt sorry for Mary Jo seeking life and breath all alone in an air pocket trying to live while Teddy sobered up ,called his lawyer ,and arranged for a Kennedy Judge. Do I feel sorry for Ted Kennedy . No. Sometimes justice is delayed, but it has come to Ted.

Bill Schneider will anoint this ‘the political play of the week’.

My heart goes out to Massachusetts senior Senator Ted Kennedy as he battles fatal brain cancer.

Well, my heart has a different opinion.

"No one should have to suffer slowly toward their demise."

Does this dimbulb author think that perhaps Miss Kopechne had a quick and merciful death?

Or is it much more likely that she struggled for many minutes before exhausting the air trapped in the roof of that lying asswipe's car?
And then held her breath as long as she could...

No one should have to suffer slowly toward their demise.

A proposition with which I do not concur.

There are no words to describe how I feel about ole Ted. He is nothing more than human debris. Take out Mary Jo and he is stil a piece of worthless garbage. No sympathy from me for his terminal illness. The world will be a better place without hi.

Ted Kennedy has a Special Purgatory waiting for him and he deserves the Eternity in it he will get.

My God the audacity of this corpulent corrupt “JackAss” trying to literally at the last minute change the rules so he can personally choose his own replacement is
absolutely “Beyond the Pale”.

Are the Sheeple of Mass. going to just lay down and take it one more time or do something about this?????????

Who knows? Maybe he won’t get ferried across after all, but find Himself stuck in an air pocket in a car, driven by a drunk, into the River Styx.

I predict the former, not the latter.

gee, an alcoholic sociopath with over-inflated sense of entitlement...who has cheated in college, cheated in marriage, killed a woman by accident and insured her death by spending several hours hiding and thinking about his political future and criminal prosecution, raised a son who is a drug addict and simpleton.....

and we're supposed to be shocked that he's a conniving, spineless bloated toad of a criminal that wants his legacy to be insured by naming his successor and dispensing wisdom like some modern day Polonius.

Go quiet into that cold dark night, Teddy.... rest well knowing that you're known far and wide as , what? How should we put it?

A doddering, old fool that mistakes sycophants as "friends", that is held in high esteem by men with no honor and regarded as a predatory drunkard by women with honor and a target of opportunity for women with none.

go quietly, Ted. You will be remembered by most honorable men and women as a mud splatter on the historical highway of our country. Something dirty, random and directionless that was flung upon us by an accident of birth and the useful idiocy that you provided for haters of America.

I could care less what Assachusettes decides. They've been living with their decision for several decades leaving this fop to represent them in the senate. They should get a fat sow from a farm in Assachusettes put a suit on it and walk him into the senate with a name tag saying, "I'm here to take Ted's place"... and be done with it.

Usually, politicians try to keep their wrongdoings shrouded from view in darkened rooms.

Yeah but, shoot, after you've killed a girl and the whole world knows it, why bother to hide anything else?

Amoral politicians = no morals except their own perception of right and wrong. That explains how Bill Clinton could go on national TV and proclaim “I did not have a sexual relation with that woman.” and walk out of church Sunday with a Bible under his arm. In his own eyes, he probably convinced himself he had done no wrong.

Is an end to the Kennedy blight on this land near?

I dearly hope so.
