Iraqi faith in future of country blown away in seconds

Just the other day, a friend was complaining about the Iraqi army checkpoints all over Baghdad. “These checkpoints kill all the fun when I go out on a picnic with my family,” he moaned.

The next day, his wife found herself sitting among bleeding and dying colleagues at the Iraqi foreign ministry after a massive truckbomb devastated the facade of the building and cut down dozens of people in a cloud of shattered glass.

“It was judgment day,” his wife said about the scene. “Some people had lost their eyes. Everyone was crying or slaughtered by the flying glass,” she said.

After Wednesday’s bombings, which also targeted the finance ministry, the friend is still complaining about the checkpoints, but for different reasons. “So you wait for a long time in some checkpoint and then you see some a soldier or a policeman turn his back to the waiting vehicles and just start waving them through while he is chatting to someone else. What’s the point in that?” he said.

The checkpoints set up around Baghdad have gone overnight from an irritating and unwanted cause of traffic jams to being criticised as inadequate and unprofessional. Wednesday’s explosions, in which almost 100 people died and more than 1,000 were wounded, exposed deep flaws in the ability of the Iraqi security forces to defend the population and obvious targets like government ministries against attack.

Yep, that’s the kind of trouble people have when they live in regions dominated by the evil governmental idealogy of Islam...

As long as they live under that total domination of Islam, that’s what they can continue to expect.

and still they don't name names. They don't publicly state they explosives, mortar shells and rockets comes from Iran.

Are they afraid, are we scared to call a spade a spade??

And we continue to believe that we are going to change thousands of years of history. Amazing........get out of there now. Either destroy them, set them back to the 7th Century or get out of Afgan and Iraq. You wont’ accomplish a dam thing by staying there.......except get our kids killed.

And that same mentality and idealogy is coming to the USA, with Sharia law and Islam to take over and control this country... and for the people in this country to end up just as stupid as they are in Iraq for tolerating that evil idealogy of Islam...

A previous post of mine...

For all o’ y’all... you gotta see that “demographics” one, for sure...

That evil and oppressive governmental idealogy of Islam and the way of implementing it by Sharia law is already making inroads right here in this country — the good ole USA. We’re about to see a “takeover” of the U.S. by the evil and oppressive idealogy of the government of Islam (that is aiming for world-wide conquest and has stated that the U.S. is *on its list* to take over...)

And for those people who need some additional facts about what the evil and oppressive governmental idealogy of Islam is doing, look at some of the following.

There’s no question about it... the enemy is *Islam* itself and the evil and oppressive and false idealogy that it perpetrates. Some say the problem is “fascism” (instead of the basic oppressive governmental idealogy of Islam, itself). But, that is to engage in “political correctness” and nothing more... and sidetracks people from the *true enemy* in this war.

In one generation we’ll see, right here in the United States that “Islam” is the enemy and not “fascism”...

Muslim Demographics...

and also, this...

Islam: What the West Needs to Know - FULL LENGTH ENGLISH VERSION

and then, looking at this...

“The Third Jihad” (video - abridged version of film)
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2271522/posts

This is the allowance of “false gods” to take over this nation because of the ignorance of the people of the land in regards to the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob...

And so, we see that we’re going to have the “false god of Islam” ruling over the USA and running the USA in just one generation from now.

If nothing else, everyone has to see this few minute video, and it will explain the *facts* of why Islam will be taking over this country...

They don't want to give Israel more reason to be aggressive against Iran. The West will at best display fake outrage against Iran, but I'm sure they would prefer to look the other way.

I agree. It could be stopped if some country would bomb Iran real good. They need it, they want it so lets give it to them.

Let me be clear about Iraq.

- It has been 6 YEARS since U.S. troops drove into Baghdad and defeated the Iraqi army in 3 weeks.

- The “IRAQ WAR” ceased to be a military operation years ago.

- Due to our incompetent ‘civilian leadership’ under the Bush administratoin we allowed the “IRAQ WAR” to morph into, 1st a ‘guerrilla war, then 2ndly into a ‘resistance’ war.

- Now, it’s pure ‘terrorism’ that’s left.

- There is no outward military threat to IRAQ - not since the U.S. marched into Baghadad 6 years ago.

- From the very 1st month after U.S. troops rolled into Baghdad 6 years ago, what remained to be done was establish a “POLICING” operation with Iraqi natives.

- After 6 YEARS the IRAQI people need to take COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY and get a hold of their country.

The world needs to excise the disease and cancer of “Islam” and get rid of it entirely...

yep.. amazing how is nary a word from CNN MSNBC ABC CBS NBC about the attacks in Iraq.. and very little real talking head protest over the “surge” in Afghanastan. Guess that is because these 2 conflicts are now the wars of a democrat President, and that makes them “good” wars.

these people disgust me.. after demonizing President Bush for 8 years, they are now silent.

We can’t leave these 2 countries anytime soon. I suspect Obama will go forward and leave Iraq, and cut and run on Afghanastan. And again, you will hear screams of protest from us on the right and center, who demand respect for our fallen, who lost their lives in these 2 conflicts. They think it’s noisy now, at these town hall meetings? Let him try that and see what happens.

I work in Southfield MI. 10 miles from Dearborn. The Islam mecca. They toll the bells for prayers every day. Obama is the best gun salesman in the U.S. And there is a reason for that.

This turn of events was a forgone conclusion as soon as it became clear that Obama was going to pull our troops out. The bad guys never went away. They have just been laying low waiting for weak-spined politicians to throw in the towel.

Within months after our forces leave, Iraq will be another Iran - maybe worse.

Because if we were honest about it, we’d have to do something about it. We will anyway and the longer we wait, the higher the cost. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if any wisdom is transferred from one generation to the next.

Until we are willing to burn Tehran to the ground, there is no hope for Iraq, Afghanistan or Pakistan.

The only question over the long term: Will it be Tehran or Washington?
