Oh yes. Cobbins took the stand today. He explained the plan to carjack for money. It elevated quite a bit. They took the couple back to mechanicsburg and now had a problem.
Much easier to get and more sure money around town than that. I know one place it likely wasn't though. In Halls. Where the murder happened put them within 5 minutes even to the mall either via the interstate or the back way across Cherry St and up Washington Pike.
That whole area is rough now even Whittles. I worked at the old 7-11 look alike at night on Whittle Springs in the late 80's. It was getting pretty rough even around there back then. Everything that happened on Magnolia in the bars seemed to end up there at the store for some reason. I can also remember when Whittles was a very safe middle class neighborhood. Cherry st area was rough in the 70's though especially around Levi's.
I'm thinking back on all the murders and I mean the bad ones. This one is the worse. I remember the one in Fountain City where two persons butchered a man {literally} and placed him in Knox and Anderson Counties. Part of him was found a few miles from me. There was Tatto Eddie, Zooman, Lilylyd family murders {a bunch of evil kids}, the girl in the ceiling in Christenberry Heights, The Big Ridge murders, and a few more. This one though sounds more cult ritualistic IMO.
I watched Cobbins testimony, yet another version of the many he has told. I really think he was taunting Mr Christian, telling him that Channon offered him oral sex
if he would help her get away.
Mr Christian almost came over the railing, and his wife pulled him back.I’m afraid the poor man is going to have a stroke, and there are three more of these trials.
There were many,many people who helped these demons after the fact. I hope they’re all charged.

The house this happened in was like 750 square feet with no doors,just curtains hanging between rooms. Everyone in that house knew exactly what was going on.Just pure sadism, and evil.
The prosecutor asked Cobbins what
the girls name was. It took him a while to remember it. He got Chris Newsoms name wrong.
