Skip to comments.Lockabie murderer released: Obama’s hostility toward UK causes America major embarrassment
Posted on 08/24/2009 6:02:26 AM PDT by jmaroneps37
Last week we saw Barack Obamas Wile E. Coyote style diplomacy blow up in his face. Once again he has embarrassed America on the world stage.
The headlines from the Democrat controlled media screamed in outrage over the United Kingdoms release of a murdering Libyan terrorist.
Wile E. Obamas continuing sharp insults to the British caught up to him and blew up in our faces. In the world of international diplomacy everything is connected.
Obamas anti British history
Obamas deep anti British feelings were learned at the knee of his Kenyan grandfather. He was a nationalistic Mau-Mau, a group bent on driving White Englishmen out of their country by slaughter and terror.
In retaliation the British Army rounded up the men of Obama seniors village and tortured them.
In February almost immediately upon moving into the Oval office, Wile E. Obama went out of his way to insult the British government by insisting her diplomats take back a bronze bust of Sir Winston Churchill which had been presented to George Bush as President of the United States.
When Bush left office he had the grace and sense of history to leave the important gift behind for future presidents. Obama apparently blames Churchill for the torture of his Mau-Mau grandfather and took the opportunity to embarrass the British by returning the bust.
Just several weeks late when Obama met with Britains Queen at Buckingham Palace he insulted her with gifts of an iPod and a bunch of other made-in-China junk available at WalMart.

So BO is a Mau Mau Muslim Kenyan. What a pedigree he has!
The English have the RULE of LAW, and the Kenyan, have the tribal rule of the Chief. He wants to be Chief, and he doesn’t need a Constitution.
Thanks very much for the post/link. Very, very interesting.
>>Every damn Obama/UK related article mention it... let it go people...<<
You joined in July 2009 and are telling FReepers what to do?
It’s not just obama
rahmbo’s father was a “simple soldier” in Irgun
no love lost for the Brits from the marxist ballerina running the WH
There’s an interesting underlying premise to this report if you read it closely: it’s as though he’s saying that “One good snub deserves another”, or at least implies that the British decided to be as free-wheeling and “inconsiderate” of our feelings about this Lockerbie Libyan as Obama was about the Churchill bust and meeting the Queen and Gordo Brown. It’s quite possible. Who is to say, in the “nuanced” world of diplomacy that a strong bond with the UK from the beginning of this Administration might not have resulted in them NOT releasing this Mad Bomber? Instead we get a totally different dynamic, where they do things presumably “to piss us off”, because “we” did things “to piss them off”. Obama and his minions think of this as “Progress”. It’s not.
See my #9 .
Thanks for that smack in the nose. His reply really raised my hackles.
If we proceed like that, then we find ourselves in a situation where a new outrage is simply greeted with a shrug: "That? Oh, I suppose that's not good, but it's just one thing. Why get so upset over such a small thing?" and this prevents any real realization from building up in the minds of the people.
The reality is that Outrage 1 + Outrage 2 + Outrage 3 ... + Outrage n all add up to a serious problem with the guy in the White House. Deciding that some of these outrages are "old news" is what Leftists do.
you have stones for a rookie....These folks will eat you alive.
By the way, congrats on your 1 month birthday here, your views are equally valued by me.
1. There is little evidence BO had much, if any, contact with this grandfather. In fact, Obama's first visit to Kenya was in 1988, nine years after gramps kicked the bucket.
2. The Mau Mau were Kikuyu supremacists. Few if any Luo were involved with them.
3. Grandpa did get in trouble with colonial authorities and was probably tortured, but it was several years before the Mau Mau movement got going.
Oh no he didn’t! Silly puppy,LOL!
I would say that the British were an embarassment to themselves on this one.
And why are you making such a demand. IT happened now did it not, and our dear leader has a habit of going around and poking his finger in the eye of anyone who disagrees with him. He has even been seen giving that international salute to some.
Thank you for the post Mrs. O’Bama .
” let it go people...”
Thanks for the instructions, coach.Per your orders, we’ll drop it immediately.
Seems a silly assumption.
Check out the family background of Rahm “Emmanuel”.
Who really killed his Uncle “Emmanuel” in colonial Palestine? Palestinians? Or Brits? Rahmbo’s father served as a “simple soldier” in Irgun.
Anyone think Rahmbo is not running the WH and now picking our friends and enemies? Did that Churchill bust arrive back in Britain along with a dead fish?
As your President begins his Ramadan vacation, I wonder if his thoughts are very far from his Jimmy Carter like performance.
Its a very long time since that uninspiring inauguration speech back in January, but the lack of any clear direction or theme in that speech may have been the first indication that the Obamas presidency was going to be more Carter like, than Reaganesque.
The man is clearly in over his head and the one knock that stood out more than any other during his presidential run was his lack of experience. A criticism ignored by the mainstream media, but his performance so far has proven that critique to be more than conjecture.
The guy clearly has no common sense knowledge of the role he is supposed to be playing. If you were to close your eyes and just listen to the chattering, youd almost think that the campaign was still going on.
Hes a great campaigner and a p*ss pot poor president whos apparently tone deaf.
Glad to see an Admin on this “conservative” (see its tag), who spends about 1/2 his time denigrating what others post here (see its posting history). Ah, I love the smell of zotted troll in the morning...
“So does the author think that if Obama had been nicer to the Brits that the guy wouldn’t have been released?
Seems a silly assumption.”
This is EXACTLY how international diplomacy works. If anyone is being silly here.... well you figure it out.
Nice to see the high paid staff is on it’s toes! Great job!
I read your other thread. Why would obama have been recruited by the CIA
and if he was why is he acting like he is now? Was he fired by CIA and is bitter?
Trollboy is history. Nothing like the smell of ozone so early in the morn’ ;)
“You joined in July 2009 and are telling FReepers what to do?”
exactly what I was thinking.
Let’s drag out some other stuff shall we?
Obama’s presser fiasco during Brown’s visit.
The cheezy gifts given to the Brown children.
The cheezy gifts given to Brown.
The cheezy gift that reeked of narcissism - to the Queen
I’m sure there’s more to add to the list right?
" Our long national nightmare is over. Let me begin by sincerely apologizing to most of the world for the last 4 years. I am truly sorry that you had to see us at our lowest point since the Civil War. Over the next several months I will be sending teams of diplomats to the countries that were offended the most to begin to repair the damages done. I will also be increasing the size of the justice department to begin the prosecutions, trials, and sentencing of the previous administration for flagrant abuses and criminal actions. Now that the Presidency, Senate and House are back to a Republican majority, I promise you we will not screw it up this time. Now let's join together to begin the steep climb from our depths and start undoing the last 4 years of legislative damage. Let's get crackin'."
Daaaaamn, that’s good shootin’!
Whats the daily quota up to now? ;^)
Mod secret ;)
Silvio Berlusconi was quoted in July to the effect that Obama had done everything right up till then. Of course Berlusconi’s country entered World War II on the opposite side to the British (and stayed there until invaded by the Allies).
