CHILMARK, Mass. – President Barack Obama and his family began a weeklong vacation on this Massachusetts island with a message to the reporters who have crowded the New England villages: Chill out and don't expect much.
Pleading for privacy, the White House said Obama would have no public events while vacationing on Martha's Vineyard with his family and close friends. Aides also asked that the journalists not take pictures of the Obamas' two young daughters, age 8 and 11, when they aren't with the president.
Well then there now ... isn’t that special — a good little Masshole brain-washed brown shirt. Did she turn in her parents to the Gestapo for daring to speak a negative word about “the One”.
As far as I’m concerned, every time he’s out on party business, he’s taking time off. Every time he’s overseas, and they visit this or that “site”, he’s taking time off.
Every time he wines and dines his wifey, he’s taking time off.
All past leaders of Soviet Russia had these vacation homes and he is looking more like a Soviet leader each day.
I wonder if his next step will be to have a fire set in Congress so he can blame the conservatives? It worked for Hitler.
The anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan also plans to take her case to the traveling president. “I think the new titular head of the empire needs to know that his policies are devastating people as much as the same policies did when Bush was president,” she wrote on her blog Thursday.

I think it’s too serious an issue and folks are too riled up about it — this is a life and death issue. I don’t think it’s off the radar at all. Everyone is locked and loaded on this one.

Maybe he’ll just have some of his ACORN friends come and squat and refuse to leave the mansion he’s staying in.But then, the rhymes-with-rich peabrain who leased the mansion out to him should be thrilled to just hand the place over to him. Basically, that’s what Tony Rezco did in Chicago, right?
Actually, I live in the area. The local papers are fawning over zero more than they did when the Clintons were on the Vineyard, and I didn’t think that was even possible!
