BORN IN THE USA?
Gives Obama 2008 pass, but would require papers in 2012
...As WND reported, Franks told a townhall meeting in Kingman, Ariz., over the weekend he was considering a lawsuit to establish Obama's eligibility.
The congressman's spokeswoman, Bethany Haley, said Franks did consider a lawsuit during the runup to the 2008 election and immediately after the results were announced. But she confirmed to WND today that the congressman no longer is considering immediate action.
Franks did, however, today sign onto a move in Congress that would demand proof from future candidates, beginning with the 2012 race, Haley confirmed...

It’s defeating the purpose. Obama should hand over his authorized, unaltered, verified and orginal documents now. If he is proven to be ineligible; why wait until 2012?

You are new to the internet, aren’t you?

If Obama isn't eligible, he can't run for reelection in 2012. A law requiring showing eligibility papers would be seen as an ex post facto law, violating Article 1.

Ah, but regarding the 2012 election, a new law would not be retrospective?

Trent Franks R from Mojave County, Arizona. He wimped out today and said he believes 0bama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born citizen. No word on how he came to that conclusion since there is no documentation available to that proves that as yet.

There is an assumption by lightweights when sumarizing an article, key information can be left out of the posted summary such as a bill number, name and location dates etc. Because the reader will automatically go to the sourced material. If the reader were to do that means spending lots of time going through a Freeper cycle. Most don’t do this.
The posting was questioned because that information, name and location, while in the reference material was not posted in the summary. Actually Jappi’s posting should have been in comments and his response to the question comes off as a lightweight .
