The 270 victims who died in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 more than two decades ago included 189 Americans, among them dozens of college students and military personnel heading home for the holidays.

Former Libyan intelligence agent Abdel Baset al-Megrahi was convicted of the terrorist act in 2001 and sentenced to 27 years in a Scottish prison.

That's where this monster should have ended his days.

Yeah, thanks Scotland. No wonder you’re still subjects of the crown.

But President Obama's initial reaction, calling Mr. al-Megrahi's release "a mistake," angered relatives of American victims who had appropriately expected a more forceful condemnation.

A mistake?

Boy Obama loves to butcher the English Language.

A "MISTAKE" is when you forget to carry the one. A mistake is when you do something when you are not paying attention.

This was no "mistake". It was a deliberate act of appeasement. They did exactly what they intended to do, they let a mass murderer loose on the world whose body count more than doubled the highest estimates for Ted Bundy, The Hillside Stranglers, The Manson Family, the Boston Strangler, John Wayne Gacy, the Night Stalker and Jack The Ripper combined.

And Obama calls this a "mistake".

Typical.

“....and sentenced to 27 years in a Scottish prison.

#####

Um, no.

This scum should have died scared and alone in a Scottish execution chamber 20 years ago.

In this way, decent society would have achieved some measure of justice, and not been subject to the weak, cowardly decisions of incompetent political fops.

Marc Rich, Eric Holder, Bill Clinton, the cop-killing Weatherman and now Lockerbie......all the wrong people getting pardoned and all the wrong people doing the pardoning.

Scottish Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill, who approved Mr. al-Megrahi's release, called Tripoli's actions "a matter of great regret" that "showed no compassion or sensitivity to the families of the 270 victims."

I am not kidding you, this is Kenny MacAskill:

On his announcement to release the Libyan terrorist: “This is where my foot went.”

This is just another demonstration of how dismissive Ohbummer is of his responsibility to protect the American people’s security.

Based on the hero’s welcome this al-Megrahi lowlife received at home, you have to wonder if Ghadafi/Qaddafi/Khaddafy/whatever is itching to get back into the terrorism business, especially when terrorits have nothing to fear from the con-man living in the White House.

another example of how the world sympathizes for the bad guy but couldn't care less for the innocent.
