PHOENIX — Immigration authorities are flying illegal immigrants deep into their native Mexico from Southern Arizona to discourage dangerous crossings in triple-digit desert heat. The twice-daily flights from Tucson to Mexico City are intended to keep immigrants away from border towns where they would likely run into smugglers who want to sneak them back into the U.S...The U.S. Department of Homeland Security flights began Saturday for the sixth straight summer and will end Sept. 28. Tucson is the only spot in this country where the flights depart. Arizona is the busiest illegal entry point into the U.S.

We need trebuchets.
I think we need to charter some A-380s. If we were serious about this, we could keep Airbus in business alone for the next century or so.
You see the white buses headed south from LA to the border.
I don’t think we should be flying them to the interior..it is a waste of money and a free ride.
Let them pay to get home from the border.

Drive ‘em
Get along little doaies!
Border ping
dogies
Must be nice to go home and visit relatives on the taxpayer dime. See ya back here in 2 weeks.
They are less likely to return if we get them to the interior. If we take them to the border and drop them off, they just try to cross again illegally. It costs them money they don’t have to return to the border if we can get them back to, say, Oaxaca or Michoacan. Better yet, Chiapas.
I think C-5A's would work even better. You could cram lots in the cargo bay, then open the rear cargo bay once it reaches Mexican airspace.
They will be back to Nogales before the plane gets back to Tucson.
A large packing house in SW Kansas relied upon Mexican labor. The packing house held a workers job open for 3 shifts after he would be caught and deported. Immigration would come get a whole bus load and run them to El Paso/Juarez and dump them out. They would be back to work at Nasty Beef before the bus got back to Kansas. When Immigration headed south to Juarez, Nasty called El Paso and had a bus waiting for them. As soon as Immigration went to fuel their bus and eat before heading back the workers came back across and jumped on Nastys bus and back they came. That is common knowledge.
Send them to Tierra del Fuego.
Hello? Anyone home? We can’t send them to a third-party country. We can only deport them to the country of their origin. That is why I suggested Chiapas. It’s as far South as you can get in Mexico.
That is why they are flying them back to the interior. I take it you’re talking about Garden City.
its not a waste. we’re not shipping them far enough.
Nasty Beef isnt in Garden, but it is in Dodge and Liberal, soooooooo
It was a JOKE! Furthest point south, etc.
“Wonder what percentage of this the Mexican government pays.”
ZERO. We pay it all. And on top of that Mexico is bellyaching about having their citizens come home and treats the aliens’ anchor babies with disdain:

Repatriation program
Mexican and US authorities will repatriate undocumented Mexicans in custody in Arizona, according to Mexicos Office of Foreign Relations (SRE). The 2009 Voluntary Program of Repatriation to the Interior takes place during the period from August 21 to September 28 with two flights daily. The object of the plan is to guarantee the participants integration back into their homeland and to combat alien smuggling. From the time the plan first began in 2004, there have been 82,341 people repatriated. The annual program is scheduled during the hottest season in the Arizona desert. The Mexican states of origin contributing the largest numbers of repatriates are Puebla, the state of Mexico, Oaxaca, Guerrero and Michoacan. The prisoners are first flown to Mexico City and from there, sent by bus to their places of origin without cost to them.

Illegal alien students pay in-state tuition in some U.S. public universities; they are even admitted to the exclusion of others in order to fulfill minority quotas, but read what happens in Mexico.(note by NAFBPO)

According to the Population, Borders and Migratory Issues Committee of the Chamber of Deputies (House of Reps. of Mexico) thousands of migrant children are rejected in public schools in different cities of Mexico due to the lack of a Mexican birth certificate, which will affect their reentry into the national educational system. The chairman of the committee, Edmundo Ramirez Martinez, said There are complaints from at least two thousand parents in states such as Michoacan, San Luis Potosi, Guanajuato, Oaxaca, Queretaro and even the Distrito Federal that, after having returned from the United States some months ago, now they have that impediment from officials in order to enroll their children in public schools. The PRI (pol. party) federal congressman explained that all those youths have U.S. citizenship and now face rejection and discrimination when they are denied entry into Mexican pre-school, elementary and high school education, who are denied the enrolment of these children of Mexican parents and origin, due to the lack of a national certificate. He pointed out that as a result of the crisis in the United States, thousands of families have returned temporarily or permanently to Mexico and now face the dilemma of obtaining a Mexican registration, at the risk of not getting it or simply not wanting to get it for fear that their children might lose their rights as U.S. citizens.
He pointed out that these children who were born in the United States and who have returned to Mexico are practically non-existent as far as the educational and health systems, which reject them because they cannot prove their Mexican citizenship.

Anyway, how do we KNOW they’re from Mexico? Must be their passports, Mexican driver’s licenses and Mexican birth certificates they all carry with them as they cross the border.
What company is it?
We take their word for it. I suspect they can tell from their accent. I know I can differentiate between different Mexican accents, and other Latin American countries’ accents.
No proof? Off to Tierra del Fuego they go, in my book.
Only the ones WITHOUT criminal convictions get parachutes.
how do we KNOW theyre from Mexico?
The same way we know a Georgia Peach english speaker ain’t “from” Acadia Parish?
his just shows how much Mexico stinks....the country is so bad that the US has to dump Mex Illegal Aliens so deep into Mexican interior in order for them to discourage the illegal aliens from returning
No dice - they shouldn’t get chutes at all. That would have the side benefit of stopping return trips.
No, I mean how do know Mexico as opposed to any number of Spanish speaking countries south of the border.
yes I knew what you meant.....”spanish” as spoken in messico and other points south is quite revealing, just as the English spoken in the 2 American regions I used is distinctly different and recognizable.
“spanish” as you attempt to utilize the term means little for one of them attempting to fool someone about his geographic origin.....dialect, “accents”, pronunciation, etc etc....plus, I don’t think many other-than-messicans want to exit a plane in messico claiming to BE messican if they ARE NOT
This could be a Lemmings clone game where the Mexican laborers have to work very quickly to build ramps and bridges before the parachutists go splat. But, it might be considered racist.
Ping!
If you want on, or off this S. Texas/Mexico ping list, please FReepMail me.
I’d save that for the capital offenders. The rest can watch and landand hopefully learn. Three strikes and you join the majors.
Spending billions on this could save us trillions !!!
Well, it was all tongue in cheek silliness anyway. Adios, if you’ll forgive my attempt to utilize the term :-)
Thanks for the ping, I appreciate it...
