An unemployed Arkansas woman and her unborn son, whose name she tried to auction on eBay can't seem to catch a break.
After five auctions on the Internet marketplace, Lavonne Drummond, 36, saw a winning bid of $6,800 was dashed Tuesday when the winning bidder, a producer at an Internet radio talk show, told the mother of six that he had no intention of paying for the naming rights of her seventh child.
"They just apologized," Drummond told FOXNews.com. "They just wanted to help but didn't think they would actually win."
Drummond, whose first four auctions were removed by eBay for myriad reasons, said she won't make the radio show Morning Jungle or its producer, Brett Cohen, honor the winning bid.
"I've been through a lot and I'm just tired," Drummond said through tears. "I've had graphic e-mails sent to me, crank calls calling me every name.
I'm just done."

Gee, I wonder what her husband - the father of all these children - has to say?
You don’t think much of your children if you leave their naming up to some stranger on E-Bay...she’s an idiot...

She should... I thought that was the whole thing behind bidding... if you win, you’re supposed to pay up... LOL...
Baby naming rights, that would be “Father” on the standard birth certificate would it not?
I’d pay a couple bucks for the fund to have her spayed.
Speaking of Golden Palace...
I don’t have the guts to post the pic. So I’ll limk.
(You have been warned!)
I might pay to see her baby named “Mymoms Anidiot Drummond”.
Maybe she should just name it Ebay.
Nice initials too.
I feel so sorry for the two oldest kids. Can you imagine having to listen to everyone at school yapping behind their back about their idiot mother. I hope they can survive the viciousness.
So that’s what knocked my bid off the table. And Consuela Bannanahammock is such a pretty name too.
My bid will be for “Bugle Corps,” so that on the kid’s records it will read, “Drummond, Bugle Corps.”
Heavy SIGH...
By the looks of some of the children, I’d say this idiot had
more than than one sperm donor.
Tijeras_Slim Drummond?
Wondered if anyone would catch that. ;^)
I am NOT Laz, no way would I hit that. ;)
Bill Jr.?
But of course.
Whatever the name is, the middle name has to be “Wayne.”
Funniest of the funny names.
Another good one, they were looking at the church registry of an old English parish and found a “Diet Coke” circa eleventh century or so. “Diet” was a form of ‘Beitrice’ and “Coke” meant her family worked the cole mines.
All the girls, including mom, have stripper names.
Interesting.
This link:
says the idiots sued and lost.
Good.
Also says what kind of trailer trash idiots they were as well.
The mom looks like a cougar. A certifiable MILF.
That girl looks very young. She says she’ll use the $$$$ for her kid’s college education - yeah, right. More like for a case of Kool’s and some meth.
Ashley, Holly, Heather, and Janelle? Mom’s got a stripper name but her daughters have pretty average names if you ask me.
At least she's creative about making some money...she could have done something a lot worse.
I'm sure the stupid Arkansan jokes will continue nonetheless.
And there is nothing wrong with the middle name Wayne--it is my fil's, my husband's, and my older son's middle name--try making fun of it to their faces--I dare you :P
Hey now! Smackover is a very nice town. You should visit. The Arkansas Oil & Brine Museum is outstanding.

Perhaps "Facepalm"...
